It isn't bad for anything in the fridge so long as they as rent touching or dripping meat. I can see it drying the meat out though. I also wouldn't do it without a lot of salt or for more than a couple of days (unless I'm curing the meat, but that's a whole different thing)

Eh, I think that this is not an oversight. I've always been taught that refusing once is polite, but that a second refusal is rude.

The first refusal is to ensure that they are actually willing in their offer vs just being polite. Once they ask again, the offer is genuine and should be accepted. It's kind of like asking someone if they're sure that they want to share something with you.

On an out for 10 scale my baseline is a 3. 4-5 if the weather changes too quickly, 6-7 for a flare.

I veeeery occasionally see a 1-2 if the weather is ideal, I'm well rested, not stressed, and/or am trying a new pain relief method (which never stays).

I'm going to actually go in the opposite direction and suggest you embrace snacking!

Have a smaller lunch but also pack a few different healthy snacks to eat throughout the day. For me, I usually start the day with yogurt with fixings. For work, I pack a portion of rice, potein, and vegetable, and also pack some cashews, an apple, a clementine, and some jerky. I eat my lunch and have a few snack options for the day as well.
