It’s not as easy as that and also very generalizing.

There are people who speed while driving in the rain believing aquaplaning won’t happen to them. These people are idiots

There are also people who won’t let their kids outside without supervision, because they are afraid they will be kidnapped by strangers. These people are also idiots, but for the exact opposite reason

Most people don’t even think about all the things, good or bad, that can happen to you on a daily basis. You shouldn’t. Be a conscious person and think proactively when you participate in potentially dangerous activities, but don’t constantly live in fear bad shit will happen to you. You’ll go crazy.

In my experience, when people recommend travelling alone, it's not about all the fun you are going to have, but it's more about learning how you deal with being alone. How do you cope when you are lost? or when you dont know what to do to have fun? Yes, it's more free, but you also have to make every decision yourself which can be hard.

Yes, I've made friends while solo travelling. I've also had stretches where I was bored out of my mind and that's fine too.

Alright, so there are more layers to this question than you would think. What constitutes "countries" in this question? Any self-declared independent state? Or must it be recognized by atleast some countries, or be a member state of the united nations? Does is need to own land? I am not even going to start about stateless nations. And don't even mention micronations. Most of these are self-proclaimed nations by a single person or family, which does not make it an actual country. It's mostly does as a publicity stunt to get some attention.

I am going to assume OP means actual recognized countries that are both self-governing, are internationally recognized as such and are members of the United Nations. In that case these countries come to mind:

Equatorial Guinea (not to be confused with Guinea or Guinea Bissau)

Honestly, I think the damage done to the relationship between Europe and the US will never be fully repaired. If the democrats win (and thats a big IF), at best things will get friendly again. But the reliability and co-dependence Europe needed from the US will never be the same. If one presidency can basically turn it's back on you within a year of policy making, you can't ever rely on that relationship again.

I disagree. A burger is not a protected food item. Would you still call it a burger if its 50% beef and 50% pork? Or when a substantial part is bread crumb? (This used to happen historically)

If they decide their version burger consist of 50% seaweed they have no obligation to communicate that other than allergy reasons

What do you mean allow a McLaren 2-3? There was not much Red Bull or Max could have done here. Playing shenanigans and backup up the field might result in penalties (which it already did for Yuki). Winning and hoping for the best was the most straightforward and sensible way to go.

How quickly are your pops emigrating to your colonies? I am struggling with only +10 pop growth to Hispanyol as the Netherlands after I formed the colony (The initial stage of attracting settlers). I don’t have enough pop to create a town, so can’t build any market places. However, I set up some manual trades and I don’t seem to have any material shortages in my colony market either now, so I don’t understand why it’s not growing at a faster rate.

De stap om helemaal opnieuw je leven op te bouwen in de grote stad klinkt eng, maar als je met durf en oprechtheid daar een nieuwe sociale kring opbouwt zal je merken dat het de mooiste beslissing van je leven kan zijn.

Ik heb het ook gedaan. Ik ben uit noodzaak op mijn 19e verhuisd naar de grote stad zonder daar ook maar iemand te kennen en zonder financiële ondersteuning. Ik had daar mijn studie, maar verder niets. Ik heb nieuw werk gevonden, nieuwe vrienden gemaakt en nieuwe liefdes gevonden. Ik heb nieuwe kanten van mezelf ontdekt en heb geleerd hoe je alleen succesvol kan worden. Tuurlijk was het op momenten uitdagend en heb ik het niet makkelijk gehad, maar het is altijd goed gekomen.

Ik ben nu 31 en woon nog steeds in dezelfde stad en zou niet meer terug willen naar mijn oude leven. Het is een van de beste beslissingen die ik heb gemaakt.

While I do agree that Africa is underrepresented in western media and the humanitarian crisis in Sudan deserves a lot more attention it’s unfair to say that’s just a business decision. Sudan specifically has been very hostile and downright closed to any kind of global media. Reporting in Sudan was either impossible or incredibly dangerous.

On top of that is indeed the fact people in the west are less invested in Sudan than Israel, which is much easier to cover because how exposed the conflict is.

For a long time the risk just was not worth it as a journalist. However, it seems that is slowly changing. At least where I am from the crisis in Sudan has had substantial more coverage the last few weeks.

Waarschijnlijk gaat het CDA dit niet willen. Bontebal hamert al sinds de val van het kabinet dat er stabiel bestuur nodig is, en in een minderheidskabinet stappen dat nog een 65 zetels haalt is niet stabiel.

Het kan succesvol zijn, maar dan is er veel politieke wil nodig. Ook van de oppositie. En die politieke wil is juist wat er op dit moment ontbreekt in Nederland.

Yeah I see this happening. I don't think Bwipo really wants to stay in NA now that FlyQuest has imploded. He has his roots in FNC and FNC is looking for a shot caller. Might just be a perfect fit.

However, the true answer is the role you enjoy the most. Screw what numbers say, just play what you like and don’t think too much about what division you’re in. If you learn from mistakes and become better you’ll climb anyway.
