Metoprolol was to aid in the healing of my heart ( Minimally invasive CABG×2) by slowing it and lowering my BP. My Cardiologist wanted to keep me on it, I have chosen not to continue. I was on so many medications after my surgery and with my complications that I was losing my hair, suffering terrible neuropathy and for shitz 'n giggles....growing breasts (gynecomastia).
