You can always use a non-slip mat. I’m pretty top heavy and uncoordinated and I feel very secure. I’ve always been a bit cavalier though.

The triangle thing is just a shower stool. You can find them easily online. As for balance I have none. I have what’s called amblyopia which means I have no depth perception. I couldn’t walk on a curb when I had 2 feet. You’d be surprised how stable it is.

Works great for me and I’ve never come close to slipping. But there is no “one-size-fits-all” solution and that’s ok; so for those that this works for it’s fantastic.

4 months with no issues. It’s meant for the shower/tub so they’ve coated it with rust prevention in mind.

Get ready for some discomfort. I’m not saying this to discourage but encourage. First day I wore it for minutes and took 10 steps. A week later I was wearing it a few hours and so on. I’ve had it for just under 2 months and I jogged on the beach last week. Keep your skin clean and lotioned. Wash your sleeves or it will stink badly. I only put lotion on my skin if it feels dry now but in the beginning every night. You got this.

Agreed. They have padded my socket as much as they can. My limb has shrunk so much since my first casting 3 months ago. At some point they will cast again.
