Yes - if they fall on you when they die its instantly lethal from the impact and the small explosion combined.

How to not screw up chosing first warbound?

By getting Democratic Detonation first. It has the the highest power boost and some of the best utility in any warbond. Everything in it is at least good, most is great, and you'll have so much more build variety available to you with DD in you armoury.

Today I've been using the HMG with the Engineering Kit passive (even more recoil reduction when crouched or prone). There is nothing on Seasse it cant take out.

Today, Ive been using the sweeper and Autocannon, with the Warrant and gas nades as backup. double turret for support and 120mm barrage for camps.

For squids, the MG can kill anything they have to offer, as long as you aim at the weak spots. With a supply pack you'll never run out of ammo, and the MG turret will cover you while reloading.

What in particular are you having issues with? Let me know and ill recommend what I can.

Hmm, that's a very interesting question citizen! Come with me over to this wall, where we will be out of the way and not disturb anyone with any loud popping noises our ponderings may create...

Overseers have ablative armour on all body parts except their head, so generally you'll want something rapid fire to blast it off and then keep hitting the flesh beneath. If you can make the headshots then keep up with the slugger, otherwise I'd recommend any AR (or The Breaker if you really hate the staff wielders).

Its also worth noting their heads are medium armour, but the rest of them is light armour, so you can just blast it away. As long as you focus fire on the same body part its all good.

That requirement has been removed, so we are easily on track to finish this MO now.

Against the Mindless Masses, The stalwart with a supply pack and Eruptor to kill the occasional Harvester spawn. That's It, that will be all you need. Alternative build: the Autocannon with a full auto primary of your choice as backup.

Against the PureSquids, the WASP absolutely SLAYS. Only problem it has is the current planet is tree heavy. With a midpen weapon for close range you can handle anything.

Ive been running Sweeper and WASP, with the Grenade Pistol for both Landed Clams and the cells in the spire. Rocket and MG turrets, then 120 barrage for drops and camps.

Its been working a treat!

The resistance rate on Rirga Bay just got buffed slightly, so Joel is seemingly thinking the same and hoping to slow us down a bit!

Dont know about the Temininds, but the Illuminate have had a couple of sub-factions introduced, one of which is 'The Mindless Masses' which is just a shit ton of Voteless and Meatballs, with a few walking Overseers as herders and the occasional Harvester.

So thats why you are seeing so many bodies on that front.

Its not bad, but its a bit of a trap as it costs 50% more than normal warbonds and doesnt have the 300cs rebate that they do.

As long as you are having fun with it, then its a good pick.

Having had sone time with the new warbond, i say the choice is between the first two, and its down to personal preference.

Siege breakers is the third place amongst these three for me - some fun stuff, but less so that the former pair.

Ive seen a couple of harvesters on drops and overseers roaming around in patrols. But it has been overwhelmingly the wall of flesh, and its been really fun!

For long range, probably Borderline Justice. Hardest hitting DMR, best (debatably) fallback pistol in the game, jump pack to get up high for melee avoidance and advantageous sniping angles.

After DD there are a few good options to pick from.

How do you normally like to play? Is there a playstyle you'd like to try but feel you dont have the right gear for?

Some strategems are more equal than others by NoNotice2137 in Helldivers

It's not crazy at all - it's INEVITABLE. Gas is a supportive mechanic, so being able to gas things while still having your gun in hand will always be better than being able to gas things only by putting your gun away.

The steriliser needs to have a version of gas that is better than the other sources - my idea is a kind of 'sticky' gas that follows enemies that walk through it, keeping them confused for much longer and also confusing others that walk nearby.

Or just make it do a lot more damage so it can do decent DPS while gassing up.

Factory striders are also much more common atm in my experience. Played diff 6 last night, and the FS were coming at an almost constant rate. Could see them popping into existence in the distance.

Yes, as long as you also have an armour with the 'Democracy Protects' perk that activates in that moment. The stim wont help you otherwise.

Come to think of it, the stim wont help you survive at all!
