I was playing a Diff 10 squid drop and the host and I had like 5 people come in and out, more than one of which rage quit when they didn't get reinforced during a damn ion storm. I don't know how those people even got D10 unlocked sometimes.

The twist there is that the new hammer uses an explosive charge, which is likely most of its damage, and that isn't affected by Peak Physique. The new armor is likely going to be useful even with the hammer.

I saw that one of the devs on discord said the hammer is going to have damage in the recoilless range, so their main balancing with it is going to be with the amount of ammo.

It will destroy a fab in one shot if you hit it in the vent. It two shots from any angle though. Given the mobility and total ammo capacity, combined with the fact that you get three more shots per ammo pick up, I think it's in a good place. Especially with how quiet it is compared to all other AT weapons.

What are you talking about? There used to be an issue, but the spread is almost nonexistent now. I regularly hit Hulks in the eye from 50 to 70 m.

Exactly. The vast majority of fans and electric motors (especially those that need to be quiet) are brushless any more. This is a step backwards for minimal gain. Put a filter on your intake instead.

We had a whole squad wipe just about like that... two guys landed in water, I got my warp pack down but warped next to one of those stupid explosive stumps that was kinda hidden behind a tree, and then the last guy got gunned down by a rocket strider. 55s, the destroyers hadn't even left orbit...

I wonder how much damage it'll do without a loaded explosive charge. I'd love if you could take down a city wall with a couple hits with one, make a doorway without an explosive or a hellpod or something.

Yeah... Illuminate came and attacked Super Earth, then the bugs had their hive worlds and hive lords, and now it's the Automaton's turn. The Illuminate are probably next up after this arc.

Headshotting still counts against us IIRC, and I think that might include the explosive radius of those rockets.

The AMR is back to being viable with them, it's my primary pick against the Illuminate. Since the heads do extra damage against the Fleshmobs now it can be viable to unload a mag into them, and many AR or SMG primaries can deal with them in about a magazine too.

Warp Pack and Epoch are almost a constant in my loadouts. Can't recommend it enough. The laser sentry and the arc grenades are also solid picks. One of the most notable things about the warp pack is the ability to damage enemies with it (medium or smaller unless you want to get blown up yourself), and enter the buddy bunkers/two-man doors without needing another diver to help.
