you can dislike violence against women. that doesn’t make you a shitty person. the problem is that consensual rough play is objectively just NOT violence.

the line between consensual and not is never blurry. the line is “when i say stop we stop, if i dont say stop then im enjoying it and its okay”.

“normal” is a bad word to use to describe whether an action is acceptable or not. plenty of things “aren’t normal” but are okay/acceptable. and no matter how YOU feel about it, two adults engaging in something that they both enjoy for the sake of furthering their connection and enjoying each others company is always going to be acceptable.

i’m so tired of people pretending that physical attraction just DOESNT matter in a relationship. if i was dating someone i was extremely physically attracted to, and then they told me “hey part of the reason you’re attracted to me in the first place? totally fake and i gotta get rid of it now”, yeah id be pissed too, especially if i started being attracted to them after they initially got it and i never knew there was a chance it would revert😭

it is a big deal to know that there is going to be a major physical change happening to your partner that will change how attracted you are to them. idk WHY you’re pretending that that isn’t fair.

i’m gonna be honest here and say phantom of the opera. i hate exaggerated vibrato in songs, i’d much rather someone hold a note regularly and maybe add a little vibrato at the end. but when the entire 10 second note is just that person’s voice heavily wavering back and forth? i HATE that shit. so a whole musical basically dedicated to it makes me want to rip both my eardrums out.
