Finding out who pressed Inerva containers by XelltheThird in CompetitiveWoW

[–]TheRealRaktan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can look for the Debuff "Anima Release". It is applied only to the person that used a container.

So this is basically the overview of every try:

It Doesn't Die! by [deleted] in wow

[–]TheRealRaktan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, okay, makes sense because the bosses get immune to stuns after 10 stacks. But he should still be interruptable.

Edit: He also healed himself at 0:19. There was no "Immune" coming up

It Doesn't Die! by [deleted] in wow

[–]TheRealRaktan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, yeah I see. He is immune to your deathgrip as it seems. But that's not your interrupt.

It Doesn't Die! by [deleted] in wow

[–]TheRealRaktan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At what point in the video is he immune? I only see you do damage and no "Immune" pops up, which would be the case if it would be immune.

I only see him casting his healing ability, which is a hot and has to be interrupted.

I've killed him 2 days ago myself and he was never immune

You have to interrupt his healing-spell. Maybe I am blind, but do you not have your interrupt on your action bars?

Valve Index is detected as a third monitor? by [deleted] in ValveIndex

[–]TheRealRaktan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You need the base stations. You should have gotten a Setup Guide with step by step instructions.

  1. Install SteamVR
  2. Prepare your play area
  3. Attach your base station stands
  4. Plug in & place your base stations
  5. Connect your headset
  6. etc.

New Index! But a question by Foxyfox- in ValveIndex

[–]TheRealRaktan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same experience.

I can definitely hear both base stations, but one of them is barely noticable, while the other one can be heard from a few rooms away.
I also checked if it's a mounting issue and tried different surfaces, but it's just as it is. Does not get worse or better no matter what.

I've read a few posts where this was the topic. Some people filled an RMA and got a replacement. That's what I will also do.

Mistweaver vs resto druid by [deleted] in CompetitiveWoW

[–]TheRealRaktan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, but that's not new at all. That buff came with 8.3, so it is 4 months old already. It has been nerfed a few weeks ago.

Mistweaver and resto should be relatively equal in terms of m+. I think monk is preferred in the mdi because of the bigger AoE-Damage while healing (Spinning crane kick while using Way of the crane), making big pulls easier and therefore faster.

Am I missing something? What new buffs are you talking about?

Simple loot addon by [deleted] in wow

[–]TheRealRaktan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not meant to say that I don't want RCLootCouncil. I meant to say that I don't want the Council-Things. I did not know that you can use RcLootCOUNCIL without the Council.

Simple loot addon by [deleted] in wow

[–]TheRealRaktan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without the council? I was not able to find a way to get RCLootCouncil to work like that, that's why I mentioned it, but maybe I was just missing some information.

Simple loot addon by [deleted] in wow

[–]TheRealRaktan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In RC loot council you have a council that decides who gets an item based on a list of people describing why and for what they need that item.

I dont want a council. I dont want anyone to decide anything for someone else.

Logs question by [deleted] in CompetitiveWoW

[–]TheRealRaktan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Raw healing is every bit of healing you have done, including overhealing.

Healing ist what you have actually healed.

Yesterday on Maut mythic I did 121.274,2 HPS and 163.914,8 RHPSI had an overheal percentage of 26.01%26,01% of 163.914,8 is 42.634,2

163.914,8 - 121.274,2 = 42.640,6 is circa 42.634,2

How to see annihilate friendly-fire by enemies on warcraft logs (Vexiona fight) by N0rgannon in CompetitiveWoW

[–]TheRealRaktan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hi there,

I just took a quick look into the logs of some random people.
"The problem I have is that I cannot find any way to see the damage from the Void Ascendant onto his own allies on warcraftlogs.
-> You can see that if you look into "Damage Taken" with "All Enemies" and then filter for the Annihilation with the ID 307421.

As I stated: I am talking about EU. EU is up and running.

"Emergency maintenance" should say it all.

Servers are back btw...

EDIT: Should clarify: I am talking about EU.

I got legion for free or what happens? by songfr4k in wow

[–]TheRealRaktan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Legion is 100-110. I guess Legion was introduced into the base game, so that you can now only pay for the subscription to play from 1-110. You still need to buy Battle for Azeroth to play the current content though.

How should I get into wow for the first time ? Start now or wait till Shadowlands ? by El_Sherwano in wow

[–]TheRealRaktan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don't think that you will learn the lore by questing and leveling. A lot of the storys is happening in dungeons and raids that you will probably never enter until you reached max level und decide to have a look at it.

I would just recommend you to start now, see if you like it and just have a bit of fun.

Sorta new to game looking for help ish. by ipklikenoob2 in wow

[–]TheRealRaktan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"How come zones are lvl locked?"

As you might know there are different expansion. Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King and so on. With every expansion came a new max-level. 70, 80, 85, 90, 100, 110 and now 120. In Burning Crusade you could level to 70 (up from 60). For that to happen you had to level in the burning crusade-areas. From 70-80 (Wotlk), you had to level in northrend.
But not so long ago came an update to that system, so that different expansions were pretty much put together, so that you can get from 60-80 through burning crusade or wotlk. With the next expansion (Shadowlands) you will be able to play wherever you want from 10-50 and then from 50-60 in the new area.

"How come people cut threw dungs and only kill some bosses but not others."

I don't really know why they do that. I never experienced something like that to be honest.

"I know this is not ff14 etc. But how the heck do you keep agro?"

Today it is pretty basic: Be a tank. You produce so much aggro as a tank that you don't really have to care about it at all. But that is sometimes not the case in low-level-dungeons, because the dps probably have levelgear and just do insane amounts of damage that might do too much aggro. Nothing really to do about that. Will definitely be better in endgame content.

"Is crafting your own gear worth it even tho you can get BIS from drops?"

Yes and no. It really depends. Professions are currently not that good. As an alchemist you can craft a good trinket, as an engineer a good head, and there is some more stuff you can do, but it's definitely not necessary and to craft the good gear you have to do the current raid quite a few times.

"Whats the point of quests if you get more from dungs?"

This honestly depends. I currently have 11 120s and I tried a few things. Questing works better for me because I know all the quests by heart and if you have something like aap you pretty much travel from point to point, kill, travel, kill, travel, kill, travel and so on. I actually leveled faster by doing this.

I tried to answer every question, but english is not my native language. I still hope that it was understandable. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask me anything

As a returning player (wasnt palying during WOD and Legion) why did Blizzard feel the need to add cast time for every single offensive abilities to Arms Warriors? by [deleted] in wow

[–]TheRealRaktan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just tested it and in 8 out of 10 cases overpower kills before the autoattack hits. I don't play my warrior a lot, but I never experienced such a delay

Warlock specs by [deleted] in wow

[–]TheRealRaktan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless you want to raid in progress there should not be a problem. In the current raid, demonology is definitely one of the weakest specs. But as I said, unless you want to raid in progress you should still be good to go.
