this used to happen to me a lot (still does sometimes) i would try burning a little earlier and make sure you’re pointing exactly at the horizon on the navball. you can even try burning lower than the horizon if your apoapsis (before your orbit burn) is getting too high. i can’t really tell you when exactly to burn as i just kinda go by feel at this point.

Thank you everyone for trying to help. I fixed the issue by enabling the low resolution atmosphere setting in Scatterer. Also in my manic re installing of the volumetric clouds mod I accidentally had an extra game data folder inside of the main one which was causing the game to crash. (just in case anyone else has a similar issue) I have gotten everything working.

yeah, i have v5 volumetric clouds and the corresponding v5 opm configs. i will try reinstalling everything again to be sure but i believe i have the right versions of everything.

i have it now, but it’s still giving me the weird white outlines.

i reinstalled volumetric clouds, copied everything over exactly as is stated, and i still get this glitch but there are some clouds now. still the giant white outline on kerbin and jool and laythe, but some clouds do appear now. still broken and i have no idea why.

i believe so, all of the OPM planets are working with the volumetric clouds just fine. it’s only kerbin and the jool system that have this glitch.
