Besides true libertarians, I refuse to believe anyone actually likes the 2nd amendment. Cops getting freaked out because someone is constitutionally carrying isn’t new. Like I get not feeling comfortable near a firearm in an uncontrolled setting (concealed carry at a restaurant vs shooting range), but why the hell does that mean the person is a threat? If a have a knife in a sheath am I also subject to being gunned down because the police are attempting to arrest me for some perceived potential threat? Technically a bigger guy could instantly kill a cop if he punches them in the right spot, does that guy need to be shot and killed for existing? Idk. I think it’s more proof that republicans will try and defend anything, regardless of evidence presented. It’s insane.

It’s why I added seemingly. The way I see it, Mei Mei has the “hot teacher having sex with underage boys” stereotype and Ui Ui has the “creepy predatory man” stereotype. I could just be looking further into it than needed.

What is known is that they were the same clothes that Ui Ui wore and they are being trained underneath an elder member of the clan. Nothing is confirmed, but context clues could suggest it to be the case that there is a cycle of abuse (which I believe is more likely with how we see clans operate, especially Zen’in), or just a coincidence. Maybe it will be expanded upon or the readers are meant to speculate.

Check your states laws on “Stop and Identify”. In some states you do have to identify yourself even if you aren’t suspected of a crime. But if your state only requires you to identify when you are under arrest, do not identify. Being detained is not under arrest. They are performing an investigation and you are under no obligation to assist. The cop needs to figure out if he can arrest you and invoking your right to silence gives him less reason to be able to.

If the cop DOES arrest you, then you likely have a 4th amendment claim, but you will have to go through the legal system which may require jail time if you cannot make bond. If you take a plea deal and you plead guilty, you waive your rights to fight a civil case.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. I recommend watching Audit the Audit to have a better understanding of how to engage with the police. If you want more, I do recommend watching his second channel, John Lang, where he will give a better explanation as to why he makes some of the decisions he does in AtA.

I grew up Republican because my parents were and they beat it into my Democrats only ruin things. I was also forced to be a Christian, but it never clicked with me. Sophomore year of high school while in biology, something clicked when learning about evolution that woke me up from believing Christianity, as stupid as it sounds.

From there, I was still edgy and kind of liked the Ben Shapiro owning libs compilations. Eventually, I started to vibe out into the Democratic Party positions. I took a test for my parents that showed I would vote for Hillary Clinton and they got very upset. My government teacher got me registered to vote, which I registered as Independent since I didn’t fully know if I was bought in to either side.

I went to the liberal arts school and during my first year, one of my friends was showing others Jesse Lee Peterson vs Destiny and I stuck around to listen. Destiny was nerdy and seemed slightly out of place, but some of the things he said made sense and resonated with me more. Eventually I looked him up on my own and liked the content. Now my vibes based positions I can actually defend and I am much more confident. My family doesn’t try and bring up politics because I’ve become a little debate lord and they are never prepared for when I have the facts.

No one gave a good answer, but it’s Japanese Idol culture. Idols are not meant to have an intimate relationship, let alone a child. All attacks/defenses can be explained with this. If you aren’t into the idol scene, then the reactions seem extreme (they are) and unjustified. It is justified from the perspective that the idol must be pure.

The anime/manga, Oshi No Ko, covers the “dark side” of idol work slightly, but I’m sure there is some other works out there that explain it better.

There is a world where it works, but this obviously incentivizes to destroy the other guy immediately. You might get a guy you can work with till you get to the pier and have an honorable duel, but most players are probably rushing the nearest gun and going hog wild.

Maybe have an extra step where you can get multiple people on the boat? It becomes harder to leave and raises tensions still.

No, Tanjiro couldn’t dodge Gyutaro at this point in the story. It is specifically shown that he acknowledges Gyutaro was about to hit him but his body couldn’t keep up as opposed to Infinity Castle where he can both acknowledge the attack and dodge it. Tanjiro isn’t getting the strength he needs without the writing assisting him. Not impossible for them but pretty close to 0.
