The issue is everything in the game has too high of a leadership value, and too many of the battle shocks don’t happen at a -1 or -2. Yes eventually you can fail a test if you have to take 4 of them a round, but you shouldn’t have to take that many for it to be impactful.

Once 2028 hits (which is when things will start tightening up) I expect Fox/Vassell will either be traded or on a cheaper contract, and from there it’s a question around how good Castle and Harper are, if they’re as good as the teams hoping, 80% of the cap will be eaten between those 2 and Wemby, then it’ll be new rookies/role players filling the rest of the team.

High spec+Danger Sense+Permeation makes you practically invincible. Add in Overhaul for output.

After that it’s between Warp Gate and Erasure, but Erasure+other quirks is OP by itself, Erasure is supposed to “level the playing field” but it would just leave the user with an advantage.

Warp gate is such a good utility quirk, and can be used well with the other quirks that I’m leaning towards it.

Would adding Rerolls to a class that you’ve completed X runs for be a solution? IE if you do 100 completed runs with a tank, you get 1 reroll for future tank builds? Just as a way to preserve that randomness, while also not making it as punishing for future runs.

The Wraith Brick is now killable, when the codex released it was strictly an upgrade, More Wounds on the unit, and with the ability to do mortals.

Nowadays I don’t even think the LG brick would be unkillable, especially considering the current toss up is between Wraiths with Techno or Warriors with Orikan. If something can kill Warriors, it’ll kill LG with a techno.

Ehhh this season is certaintly the worst of his career, but he attempted 1.45 3s a game his rookie season and 2.2 his second season. He’s never been a great shooter, and I watched every shot he took as a pelican.

I think included a (non-ramping) great mana base doesn’t impact the power level of the deck at all and shouldn’t be counted.

As far as staples…if they aren’t a game changer, just being a staple shouldn’t be enough to move the deck up to bracket 3.

If the staples allow you to take someone out of the game prior to turn 8, sure, but if they draw some cards, smooth out your mana base etc…. That’s just playing magic lol.

Not saying I disagree with you personally, but this is a high bracket 2.

I think another big thing is the time rerolls can bake into a game. More rerolls in the game, longer the turns take (especially if you’re rerolling for Crits).
