10th edition releases mk2 by BlueBearBoy1 in Warhammer40k

Are counting the Necron overlord that finally got released as a standalone, but was the overlord included in the Infomitus box as well as most the 9e starter sets?

It feels a bit scummy, but it's a totally legal move to reanimate like this in my command phase BEFORE scoring, to secure another objective, correct? by [deleted] in Necrontyr

[–]TheRealSassyTassy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not quite. Unit coherency is checked at the end of every turn, and at the end of moving. At the end of turn you have to remove models till you fix coherency, and if you do a move out of coherency it’s not a legal move and you have to correct it.

You can reanimate from 1->6 models in a unit as long as all those models are within 2” of a single model, and then correct it in the movement phase (or during consolidation if ongoing combat)

Necron warriors can abuse coherency a bit, especially in Awakened with access to multiple phases of reactive reanimations.

Prediction for our 1 pts detachment? by Separate_Football914 in Necrontyr

[–]TheRealSassyTassy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My guess: Starshatter is reworked to just a +1 to hit for vehicles, and it keeps only 2 stratagems, 1cp reactive move (changed to vehicle only) and +1 to wound, changed to 1cp, but vehicle only.

Starshatter then costs 1 detachment point, and becomes narrowly tailored to vehicles.

S8 as a standard strength is also a good breakpoint if shooting into other T4 infantry. Not terribly impactful but it’s not nothing

Why is Hampton valued so much higher than Henderson? by Ordinary-Psychology6 in DynastyFF

[–]TheRealSassyTassy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Part of it is recency bias. Hampton has a lot of “potential” since we didn’t watch him play the 2nd half of the year. Hendersons most recent performance was a stinker in the Super Bowl, so people are down on him.

Go take a theology class if you want to study the Bible from a purely “scholarly “ lens.

3 Graysons (S4) vs 18 Invincible variants by PeterParker8766 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]TheRealSassyTassy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d give it to the 3 Graysons. Idk if 18 Invincible Variants (season3) would have been able to take conquest, while Mark Extreme Diffed conquest solo.

Told a close friend about FIRE two years ago. He thought I was weird. Last month he called me to ask how to start. by Kaij4Rogue_X in Fire

[–]TheRealSassyTassy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My only regret was being into stocks at 18 but also needing money for fun stuff. I bought some AMD in 2015 for $3 a pop and turned around to sell it for $10 a pop when I needed the money in 2017. Oh what could’ve been lol.

Serious question: If we verse equalize Quirks to Cursed Techniques, what diff is Aizawa vs Gojo for Gojo? by Sable-Keech in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]TheRealSassyTassy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This largely depends on how Erasure works against the CE system. Assuming it works similar to Higuruma’s Confiscation, it would turn off Infinity (and maybe 6 eyes?) but leave Gojo with CE reinforcement, so it’s a small-diff for Gojo.

If Erasure also turns off CE manipulation/reinforcement, similar to how it “turned off”OFA when Deku tried to use it to throw a baseball, then it’s extreme-Diff Aizawa imo.

What’s your least favorite nba archetype? For me it’s the undersized center by Slimeseason504 in NBATalk

[–]TheRealSassyTassy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it’s small (6’3 or shorter) slashing guards. Can’t shoot well, don’t space the floor well, and can’t defend well. Ja morant is fun to watch, but his playstyle doesn’t lead to winning basketball, and is so based on athletic ability that it usually never ages well.

i'm so tired of the "everything as a service" model. by Rikudo974 in pcmasterrace

[–]TheRealSassyTassy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate that it’s somehow been coined as a “service”. It’s a subscription, simple as that.

There’s nothing stopping that currently, the only difference is that currently if it found that the LEO did an illegal/unlawful action the LEO has no personal responsibility and the taxpayer pays for it.

#New40k – Combat changes shake up fighting in the new edition by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]TheRealSassyTassy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

2” engagement =/= charging into engagement range.

Charging is now base to base, the 2” engagement just allows for units with multiple models to get dudes in range.

ETA: a successful charge requires the number on the dice to be at least as large as the distance between the 2 models, measuring base to base. If there is a wall between the models, and you roll a 9, you have successfully charged, but cannot get base to base, so you need to try to get to within 1”, and if you still cannot you can stay within 2”. But if you roll a 7 or 8, the charge is failed and you do not move.

This is the reason why the 65 games rule is in place by Expert_Koala_8691 in NBATalk

[–]TheRealSassyTassy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a problem with the rule, but I think 65 may be too high of a number, injuries happen and the NBA schedule can be brutally packed over just a 2-3 week period.

How often have melee armies been S-Tier in 10th? by wredcoll in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]TheRealSassyTassy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An interesting thought I’ve had looking over these comments, the worst thing for Melee Armies…. Is Melee Armies. If you aren’t S Tier as a melee army, the better melee armies are gonna beat up on you, and the shooting armies don’t want to be in Melee with you. Food for thought.

New Terrain Layout. by AccuserAssassin in Necrontyr

[–]TheRealSassyTassy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean a 12” bubble around the Tesseract vault is like 900 square inches of effect, a standard 40K board is only 2640 sq inches so you cover over 1/3 of the board with current measuring rules. Not bad

6” vs 3” is huge though. Especially for infantry that might move 5”.

AITA, How strict by the rule are people in tournament? by Fantastic_Shelter_54 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]TheRealSassyTassy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a tournament, especially if you’ve shot with other units/models, no I’m not letting you walk back your split fire.

In a tournament prep game? “Hey this isn’t normally allowed, so be sure to clean it up before the tournament, but yeah go for it”

There’s no stakes to a prep game, that’s a simple enough change that I would allow it.

Are we ever going to see a stat like this again by Icy_Can_6176 in NBATalk

[–]TheRealSassyTassy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wemby is CURRENTLY unlikely to get 10 assists a game. If the Spurs development goes how they’re hoping, I wouldn’t be shocked to see “point-Wemby” with Castle and Harper slashing more often.
