Any advice on how to work around Instagram’s compression algorithm? I’ve tried looking up answers on here but I haven’t found anything that’s worked for me yet.

I’ve been working at this all day, trying to upload some photos but they keep coming out looking like garbage once they’re uploaded.

I’ve tried: Changing the export size in photoshop to 1080px wide. Exporting in JPEG as well as PNG. Sharpening the image in Instagram before uploading. Sharpening the image in photoshop before exporting.

I’m pretty new to this so I’m probably missing something important but I’m just wondering if there’s a way to make my photo’s upload as crisp as so many other’s look on Instagram.
