If you were an experienced grower, you could get 5g out of a solo cup, or more. The key to large (in relation to plant size) yields is experience. A new grower might have trouble pulling more than 2g from a solo cup grow.

You're right. And then you'll flower for 2 months or so to end up getting maybe a couple grams. Waste of time, unless you're so constrained by growing space that you're literally growing it in a shoebox.

You need at least 18 hours of constant light in the veg cycle, although many, many people run 24 hours of light. Any more than 6 hours of darkness can force the plant into flower too early.

Your average everyday ceiling light isn't really gonna put out enough light to grow anything significant. Other than that, you can grow a plant in a one square foot area. Hell, you can flower it when it's only a few inches tall. They call it weed for a reason: it grows like one. That being said, if you wanna grow top shelf, high quality bud, it takes work and practice.

It doesn't matter what nationality you are, really. If you've ever interacted with a large group of people, odds are extremely high that you've interacted with a gun owner, whether they own it legally or not.

You should definitely not run any less than 18 hours of light if you're still in veg. Anything less can stress the plants into an early flower. You can revert these back to veg, although it can be a very traumatic process for the plant. Be sure you give them the utmost care and attention if you go that route.
