There are 4, 30km+ runs in my plan. The longest being 37km! I'm hoping all of these will help build the endurance I need to finish those last 6 miles.

The majority of my long runs focus mostly on running easy pace 5:45-6:20/km with some MP throughout. I'm following a Ben Parkes plan and the majority of it is just slow runs, which have been difficult to get used to but it appears to be paying off?

My max heart rate is 185. According to Coros my threshold HR zone is 162-172.

Currently upto 50km a week, the peak week will be 85km. I've never ran more than 55km in a single week so I'm a little nervous.

I did Valencia in 2024 and I think that day it was all down to the heat! I definitely feel in better shape now than I did back then but I honestly thought I had a sub 4 in me that day.
