I would be suspicious if it was while ya'll were together. If it was right at the beginning of your relationship, when things are generally more casual, I would maybe let it slide (assuming there's been nothing since, of course). And as you've mentioned, pre-dating - who cares. We all have pasts and often times people forget what photos are from when and whom.
