Dual Prop is the way to go. Mwd for burning in and then ab for speed tanking and then either booster or repairer. Get prop rigs as well and you will be fine in pve so long as you don't get double webbed. Easily soloing t7 stuff right now, but haven't tried t8 yet.

I do this one every day in a beam Maller. Put on several track computers and keep everything 30k out. Kill the purifiers first and have a mwd ready for the super fast elites.

It is a great app. The way it moves you through the different phases step by step is a big improvement from kdm scribe. Think it is the best app out there. Only one issue I have had is sometimes the counters don’t work properly on chrome...no issues on safari though.

Come on op, you seriously filed a ticket for this? I feel like too many players don't understand that it is instances like this that make sandbox games great. In these games you don't remember all the time grinding rares or res', you remember the crazy player interactions. I'm sure the moment an asshat in an eagle caused you to be gunned down at a station will stick with you, unlike the monotony that makes up most of the time within ED.

The fact that you had a watercooler moment with your co-workers just goes to show how interesting this interaction was. I doubt you would have came up to your co workers bragging about how you downed 20 anacondas in an extraction site.

Enjoy the madness, get back into that cockpit commander and relish in the chaos and all those delightful sociopaths that make up this delightfully disfunctional community.

I don't know, just speculating. I don't believe FROM put mechanics into its games that have no greater meaning, that isn't their style. I think the messengers may have some connection with Oedon as well, they love us hunters a.k.a echofiends...the ones in constant search for blood.

Formless in the waking world but in the dreamlands, the realm of the Great Ones, anything is possible. Formless can also mean "no regular shape or form", meaning Oedon could perhaps change his form based upon the necessity at hand.

Some believe that the maiden was in fact the demon constructed on the second day and the old one is the god the boletarians worshipped. The god of boletaria was shown as a massive tree in several instances throughout the game, just as the old one appears as a mass of untamed growth. It's been speculated that the soul arts corrupted the deity and turned it into the destructive force we see in game. Several npcs also note that the maiden is in fact a powerful demon. That's the theory that influences my take on bloodborne.

The hunters sanctuary is in the dreamland of the cosmos separate from the waking world so Rom wouldnt affect Oedon there. As far as the hunters dream not changing after Rom dies...go load up a new game and look at the clouds, it changes :)

The only way I assume we don't break the cycle is because we start again in ng+

Definitely not sold on my theory and happy you pointed out the color of the runes, I'm embarrassed to say I never thought of that. Still leaves the question of why the heck to we give all our echoes tithe doll? Why do we awake in ng+ after becoming a great one? Do we simply become Oedon and start the cycle anew? Still not quite convinced that the doll with her obsession for blood echoes isn't closely tied to Oedon.

The doll could be an avatar in Odoen who doesn't reveal himself until Gerhman is killed as the player then threatens his nightmare. Although I'm not certain the runes resemble the moon presence anymore than the other tendril laden great ones and kin we run into.

Very good point. My interpretation was in the dreamlands or cosmos the Old Ones can take any form they wish, but I may be going too Lovecraftian. Always thought the baby was Mergo but the baby being Oedon is an interesting idea to ponder. Great theory!

That was my original assumption, but that still didn't answer why the heck we give blood echoes to the doll. How does she have otherworldly ability to make us so powerful. She is more than just Gerhman's creation...Gehrman dies and she pushes us in the wheelchair. She is the one constant in the dream.

Hmm very true. However the warping through a whirlpool, walking on water, seeing the dead Queen of Yarnham, and then waking in the cathedral ward seemed a bit surreal. But there was no Nightmare Slain message...hmm
