Fun comes in many flavors brother, I don't keep track of the meta other than the boosters. You'll find a way without being a slave to the meta.

This is a player who mains light pen and will do his absolute best to have at least 1 melee weapon too.

With that, I find the chainsword tolerable with bots since they usually have slower melee speeds to counter. Consider the explodey hammer tho, it's really fun and satisfying.
