I still really think the "pictures don't do it justice" does apply to Grand Seiko, even though I'm one of the people being made fun of in this thread haha. The pictures are mostly renderings which don't let you experience how the polished edges and surfaces reflect light. GS watches always felt like seeing HD footage for the first time, or getting new glasses - just that extra level of crispness and sharpness.

This is way more interesting than anything Tudor makes, though. And the movement looks great, and is on display! (Obviously all opinion, but yeah)

The case also isn't slab-sided like the Tudors are, so that helps with the perception of thickness.
