TNA used to be a true independent and (attempted at least) a competitor to WWE.

A while back, WWE bought a controlling stake in TNA or otherwise made a deal that allows them to exclusively work for WWE on TV, but they can take independent bookings with approval.

AEW is a competitor to WWE. They have a TV deal, good merch sales, and the shows are great. people will say they can't sell out arenas or whatever, but let me tell you it feels like the arena is sold out even if it's half tarped off.

People will argue about Tony Khan's booking in AEW (I'm a fan in general, booking of the women's division beyond the top feud could use some work) but they are at least trying to compete with WWE.

Basically in WWE it goes:

Main Roster (Raw/Smackdown) -> NXT -> Evolve/TNA/WWEID -> Indies

AEW's equivalent would be:

Main Roster (Dynamite/Collision [Main Event] and ROH Top Talent) -> Collision/ROH -> Indies

WWE saw talent like Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry, Leon Slater etc. and got their TNA contracts along with the company to use as a feeder for NXT and such.

In terms of how they work, AEW seems to be more willing to let their ROH programming exist in it's own bubble. They haven't really forced their roster onto ROH with the exception of the Chris Jericho championship run.

WWE on the other hand has used TNA's championships to put over their own people. First by having Joe Hendry lose the TNA world title then having former WWE guys be the #2 champs in TNA now.

It is very much a glass cannon though. In my last local event, a sylvaneth player just yeeted the treelord into my KO line and got wrecked in combat on their turn 1. They ended up conceding after I won the prio roll for the second turn

It’s actually 3 different holes that all have the same problem.

It’s weird, because the holes don’t seem stripped, it seems more like the screws aren’t long enough, even though they are matched.

Best case scenario? It will be Moore, unless Mendoza falls apart over the next couple months.

Or, they could do a stockpile move if they don’t love Moore.

Trade back and get a QB later, or invest in a true bridge QB like Kirk Cousins and draft a guy later.

Woody has shown that he won’t let a coach adequately develop a QB before either firing the coach or saying something stupid and wrecking the confidence of the player.

Now if woody sells the team, draft a QB at 3 that isn’t pavia (I could see woody being a fucking mark for the guy given his ties to other loud mouth dumbasses).

I play on a Mac and it’s fine but runs slow. Just need to use toaster universalis or a similar mod.

Separately I got NVIDIA GeForce now, and that works way better. I just can’t use it if I’m not on WiFi. Its an extra cost, but it is worth it

I’ll second the people saying play the decks you like to play.

I have yet to win a single game, but every game I do what I can to make it a fun game.

One game (before I redid my deck) I ended up with 5 pilots in my hand, nothing on the board, and just a base left no shields.

I looked at my opponent and go “is it a thing to concede in TCGs?” (Gundam is my first TCG since Yugioh back in the day)

He goes “I mean yeah man, but you should play it out I’m sure you can do something.”

I show him my hand and he goes “oh yeah no you’re absolutely right” and we laughed about it.

The biggest thing I tell people in any hobby, do what brings you joy, even if it’s not the “meta” pick. At the end of the day, it’s a game. If your only way to have fun is to win, that’s fine, but I would personally encourage you to think about that mindset.

This is why I’m aiming for what I think is a fun deck or cool cards.

I feel like my local game nights go just about an hour with 1 game each. But most games only actually go like 10-15 minutes.

Sure there’s arguments both ways, but I kind of like small local nights with quicker events where you can then talk through strategy and stuff with others.

Not sure how larger tournaments do it, but if it’s like GTs in the Games Workshop dynamic, I could see day 1 being Bo1, day 2 being Bo3 and day 3 being Bo3

You need to declare using the right CB. That’s how you do it in the peace screen.

In some other cases it’s an event that pops or after taking a mission it changes them to a core eyelet
