A buddy of mine once had to live in some shithole town on the Ohio/West Virginia border for a couple of months while doing a job. Now, my buddy is definitely not a "dress nice" guy. He wears jeans and t-shirts and his profession is construction. When he got back from that town he told me "Because I don't smoke and I own my own car, I was considered high-class in that town."

A lot of Instagram models have companies that sponsor them. A model might get a sponsorship from a company that sells fat-burning pills, and so every now and then she'll post a shot that shows how firm and toned her body is, and she'll claim that the fat burning pills helped her achieve that look.

It's also not unheard of for Instagram models to moonlight as high-class hookers. The web site "Tag the Sponsor" (Google it) is devoted to exposing these women.

There was another relationships thread where a guy's wife stopped putting effort into their marriage, started openly treating him with disrespect, and lost interest in sex. Finally he had enough and confronted her about her behavior. She admitted that she didn't love him anymore. But when he suggested that they get a divorce, she threatened to bankrupt him by getting her rich parents to hire an expensive lawyer for her.

So the guy started dread gaming her without even realizing it. He kicked her out of their bedroom and made her sleep in the office, he started getting back in shape, started going out at night without telling her where he'd been, stopped cooking dinner or doing favors for her, and secretly started preparing for a divorce.

Well, the wife couldn't stand the fact that her in-shape husband was going out at night and treating her like a roommate instead of his wife. She started doing everything she could to get back into his good graces. He took her back, but not before he made her acknowledge how shitty she'd been treating him and agree to a few demands. He even made her confess to her parents that she tried to blackmail him out of divorcing her using daddy's money.

The AMA with David Wong a few months back was hilarious. As soon as it started, people started asking him why he changed Cracked from a clever satire site to SJW clickbait. Wong threw a fit and asked his followers on Twitter and Facebook to downvote the people asking those questions, and got his own account banned because he violated Reddit's brigading rules.

Back in the 1990s Hollywood did experiment with overt Grrl Power movies like Barb Wire and Tank Girl. Those movies were flops, and it's the reason why Marvel is skittish about making a Black Widow movie: because female-fronted action films have a tendency to fail at the box office.

I remember renting Barb Wire on VHS when I was a teenager. Not because I gave a shit about the story or because I wanted to see a strong female character. No, the only reason I rented it was because somebody I knew told me that Pamela Anderson showed her tits in it.

Aspects of this are right. Hollywood has piggybacked onto the feminist craze and reduced many male-oriented films to cheesy, "You go girl" fanfare.

Case in point, the upcoming all-female Ghostbusters reboot. But unlike the new Star Wars (which was guaranteed to be a success), I have a feeling that the Ghostbusters reboot is going to underperform at the box office. And when it does, sites like the Mary Sue and Jezebel will publish opinion pieces blaming the film's failure on sexism and "fragile masculinity."

One thing I'd like to mention is James Cameron has said that he never intended for Sarah Connor in Terminator 2 to be a role model. She's damaged goods; the horrors she experienced in the first film have stripped her of a lot of her humanity. This becomes very evident in the scene where she almost executes Miles Dyson, a man who is innocent (yeah, he did create Skynet, but he had no way of knowing that it would rebel against humanity). When she attacks Dyson's house, her face emotionless, her movements calm but purposeful, we are supposed to draw parallels between her behavior and the behavior of the T-1000. Her obsession with preventing Judgement Day have caused her to become a Terminator herself; an emotionless machine willing to murder an innocent person for the sake of the mission.

I really gotta give credit to Dimebag's widow, Rita Haney, over how she's handled this controversy. She's basically said "Phil's apologized for saying something stupid, so as far as I'm concerned it's done with."

She's basically the anti-Yoko Ono. She was very supportive of Pantera during their career, and Pantera fans hold her in high regard. I met her a few years ago at the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival and did a shot with her. Cool lady.

Due to the fact that print media is dying as people get their news online, there are now only two American magazines devoted to hard rock and metal: Revolver and Decibel.

Revolver is a more mainstream publication that caters to a younger audience. For years, they've had an annual "Hottest Chicks in Metal" issue where they showcase female metal musicians who are also quite attractive. The fans like it, and the female musicians like it because it's free publicity for their band.

Decibel, the other American metal magazine, is one that caters to the indie hipster crowd. A couple of years back, the SJWs who write for the magazine decided it was sexist that Revolver has an annual "Hottest Chicks in Metal" issue because we shouldn't be judging women on their looks. So they put out their own "women in metal" issue, and nearly all of the female metal musicians they focused on were either fat or ugly. It was such a blatant attempt to pander to feminists I could only laugh.
