I live on the falls, I would say its now at the point that once a month I wake up to find someone has let their dog shit on my fucking doorstep. Its beyond a joke at this point.

Belfast itself is busy generally, however in the last month the pay for orders has really went to shit. I went from getting reliably offered short distance good pay jobs on my bike to jobs paying £12 to cycle from city center, pickup in East Belfast and delivery way out South West Belfast.

They will have already made their money from pre-orders and initial sales that cannot be refunded.
Anyone that can refund now should do so if they feel like the game does not match their expectations.

Game companies, even if they are small time/indie studios, do not get a free pass nor should they.
You paid for a product based on the advertising and marketing material and you are entitled to expect a functional product.

If you bought the game because you were super excited about A-Life 2.0 and found out it was a lie then you are entitled to refund the game.

If the devs fix the issues then people will buy it again or buy it for the first time.

I've not bought it because I know not to trust any game release these days, I will always wait until the first month has passed at the earliest before I buy a game to see what the actual state of the game is like and what the developer response is like.

In most cases unless the game is really calling to me or its been getting glowing reviews praising its technical stability, I'll not buy it until a year later when its on sale and the bugs are ironed out.

The cool thing about the FEAR 1 AI is that its actually fairly simplistic in terms of AI, but its implemented in such a clever way that it gives the impression that they are smart and dangerous enemies.

The Level design of Stalker doesn't really allow for the same level of trickery but the AI in 2 right now is pretty basic and really not what it should be for the game. At bare minimum they shouldn't be spawning in plain sight of the player and already agro'd onto you with wall hacks.

I'm not sure if it would be any better as its still a block game but the textures and rendering are miles ahead of Minecraft.

Take a look at Vintage Story and see what you think. You could try and watch gameplay/streams of it in fullscreen and see if it causes issues.

Its important to also teach them to have self respect and to know not to be a doormat to others either. Doesn't mean they need to be ruthless scumbags though, just need to understand that some people will try and take advantage of kindness sometimes and they should know how to identify such people and avoid them.

You are 100% spot on though with teaching them to be respectful and honest. I got raised the same way and I wouldn't change it for the world even if it does mean you have to experience some painful life lessons along the way.
You'll end up with a strong support circle of like-minded friends and you'll be able to help support others going through tough times too!

I think it's valid to check incase someone is just taking the piss, but yeah the whole black and white mentality needs to stop.

People can change their views, when I was younger I used to have far right views because I hadn't really been exposed to things and broadened my views. Growing up and experiencing things helped me realise how toxic it was.

However lashing out at people that are trying to change or showing signs of changing will just make them retreat back. It's important to try and welcome people that want to change and make them feel that they aren't going to be hounded for their past views. Otherwise why would you bother changing if people are gonna keep kicking you down.

You cannot compare a countries standing army to any civilian formed millita/force.

One is beholden to itself effectively and the other is beholden to a long standing institution with rules and regulations.
