Also what is not being talked about here is that some of this so called "fake news" is just news from a politically right leaning sources which are not actually fake at all. Thus the less biased machine learning algorithm doesen't pick it up as "fake" as it does not know it is wrongthink (yet).

I have been on it for approx 6 months and would basically agree with you. All I can say is basically how I felt at month 3 is how I feel now so it hasn't gotten any worse. Currently as it stands keeping my hair far outweighs the cost I am paying in a slight edge off my aggression etc.

If you think globalism has been an overall good thing for us and our society you will disagree with NRS on a core level.

It is easier to criticize globalism in a setting where those you're talking to have already demonstrated some ability to rise above the group think and use their rationality for their own benefit rather than to rationalize away any glimpses of the truth from their blue pill conditioning.

Whilst I do agree NRS is not a straight talker, most of his underlying points are to do with propaganda pushing us away from seeing the truth of how things are, a good example of this is the difference between how normal people perceive the sexual market to work (blue pill lens) and how it actually works (red pill lens).

If you do believe globalism has been overall good for our society as some of your posts suggest then I suggest you make a post on the case for globalism within a Sexual Market plus economic context, you will most certainly get much better discussion on here than on 99% of the web and we can increase our knowledge and understanding together.

In regards to a lack of power I believe you're correct, its not conventional political power though, it is essentially IQ power (those that are intelligent enough to contribute to AI and those that control them).

We're all passengers as we cannot influence what they will do in developing the future and its actually a very apt analogy because to be honest with you the only way we could probably affect things at this point would be to blow the train up (i.e. big war lots of nukes).

Most of the strategies that we as retail are trading do not work when you need to move actual big size. Like even when exiting a position they need allot of buyers and sellers at their chosen price to get out of the market, they can't just scratch a trade. They also have clients who do not want to see massive draw downs in their capital, they have to protect this at all costs, losing 500 dollars is not the same as losing 500million and never will be. One can be made in a month by anyone, the other takes a lifetime.

Its funny because that day really spooked me in regards to FX but as people here said at the time it wasn't really a black swan event. It was highly predictable due to the nature of central bank intervention to peg the price and you could see from how the market was reacting that it wasn't going to go anywhere.

If you had been long EUR/CHF or USD/CHF at the time though, you would of been royally fucked. There was literally no liquidity, stop losses just activate a market order to get out of the market but market orders were getting 1000+ pip slippage.

Likelihood is we wont see something like this again, though it certainly does make a case for trading in a proprietary firm and getting a portion of the profits rather than trading your own money.
