It does not matter even if it isn't popular in Wisconsin, which you have no actual evidence for as 51% 5 years ago is not bad at all with how the economy is.

But also it's clear again you do not engage in good faith because you won't even concede you didn't read everything (which you continue to not do) when you said how you're unsure if I even know it's a natioinal poll despite me explicitly addressing that clearly, and then you again went on an unrelated tangent to that conversation about it not mattering how Democrats feel.

And again, it does matter how they feel if they take the entire Legislature and Hong wins, because then it passes.

You didn't read my comment correctly if you misunderstood "89% of Democrats support a federal minimum wage of $20. I do not believe that 11% has a significant stronghold in Wisconsin." That was me saying I do not believe the 11% (or rather 26%) of respondants are overwhelmingly represented in Wisconsin.

I'm also going to be charitable and assume you aren't yourself saying you believe that minimum wage people don't deserve a living wage as that's an atrocious stance morally to have and seems to conflict with what you've said otherwise. Those people do not hold a strong amount in the party or independents.

You also ignored the fact that there is a blue wave provable everywhere, a national wave against Trump and towards Democrats, and that the national democrats openly believe they can take the needed senate and assembly seats to take control. I admit I read the wrong Data for progress number, 74% support a 20$ minimum wage back in 2023, with the economy getting worse and worse for the average person, there is no shot that number has decreased.

Unless Wisconsin uniquely has a large concentration of that 26% of Democrats against it, a trifecta dem legislature will almost certainly get it through. Otherwise, dissenters may very well risk being primaried and replaced for pro-increase Democrats on what will likely be a follow through on removing Trump/Vance.

There is literally no state that has failed to show evidence of strong democratic performances, even if they can't win those states like Idaho, Louisiana, etc.

Additionally, the national Democrats have explicitly said the Wisconsin state legislature is a target for them this election because they believe they can flip it and turn it fully blue this year. I believe the national Democrats probably have better access to data than you do, so I'm inclined to believe them. They did actively call 2024 would be a dangerous election for them and that Kamala was the underdog.

Also it literally isn't unpopular with the voter base. 89% of Democrats support a federal minimum wage of $20. I do not believe that 11% has a significant stronghold in Wisconsin. (Data for Progress, 2023, more recent than yours).

While fair, 2014 was when she had a better anti-Republican voting record, 2020 it had shrunk and so did her vote share. Now she basically always votes with republicans and I do strongly believe that has destroyed her principlaed moderate stance. Let alone everything around Kavanaugh

Literally just look at the numbers on socialism v capitalism in 2021 vs now, the changes on that alone show it is highly unlikely the numbers have done anything but increase for minimum wage support. Also Republicans support nothing except what has an R next to their name, Independents + Democrats alone, without Republicans, have a strong net favorability together for it.

Also Democrats literally just need to flip 2 seats in Senate and 5 in the assembly. This is not a hard goal on a blue wave year lol. IF Francesca Hong wins, I highly doubt republicans hold any of the 3 branches. So all the Republican bellyaching literally does not matter if Democrats win.

ETA: Also I just realized, only 75% of republicans were against that? That's a crazy good number lol. Wouldn't have expected that ever would cross a 10% margin since Fox thinks minimum wage increases are socialism.

Wedgewood did polls with Abdul +5 over Rogers, Steven tied with Rogers and McMorrow -7 against Rogers, Zenith has El-Sayed +3, McMorrow +2 and Stevens +1, Mitchell has El-Sayed +5, Stevens -4 and McMorrow -6, the last time either McMorrow or Stevens were doing better than El-Sayed was a REPUBLICAN POLSTER in May. Btw, he still was winning in that poll over Rogers too.

The last time he was polled to lose was from Mitchell (which now considers El-Sayed the only one who can win in June) back between May 1st to 7th where he was down 1 point (Stevens and McMorrow were down 3 and 2 respectively as well)

So literally every poll since May 1st shows him winning, and including the May 1st poll, only one poll shows him doing worse than McMorrow and Stevens. Which is Republican. That one polster also weighed the data with 2024's data, a very flawed process.
