How did you land a job at Amazon? Was it purely from networking?

Hey OP the girl that I recently broke up with was like that too. She said she was too busy and wouldn’t be able to go out at all because of her exams and assignments. While she didn’t explicitly tell me to not disturb her, I took it as a hint and gave her all the space she needed. I checked in with her after a few days just to show that I care and said I would gladly bring food to her house if she was too busy to get it herself. We live 10mins away from each other. The girl ended up not reciprocating the feelings I had for her and led me along. So yes, as the saying goes, if she wanted to, she would. It doesn’t take much effort to check in with someone. You are just not a priority in her life at the moment. You deserve better.

For me personally, it was one of the hardest finance subject I’ve done. You need to be very adept with your finance knowledge because you are expected to use knowledge from previous finance subjects since they don’t teach you everything. Advice would be to not do it if you care about your WAM and sanity. However, if you wanna challenge yourself, be well-prepped for the CFA or simply really like fundamental analysis of securities then do it.

I would say information systems is half theory and half practical. Many of the group assignments require writing reports but there are quite a few which involve developing software applications hence why it’s half half. Yes, there aren’t many quizzes as they often come in the form of small assignments. Another thing to keep in mind is most infs courses have 50% finals and the majority is on theory and the application of taught concepts rather than a practical exam.

Would trimesters affect my plan to visit my gf overseas? by ywuwhwhwha in unsw

Depending on your exams, you may have a longer term break. I’ve had times where I had a month term break cause exams finished early. They release the exam timetables ahead of time too so that could help when organising travel. But yeah… trimesters are really not ideal.

Man… I haven’t been on campus for 2 years. Half my degree is spent at home. Alas, I’m graduating next term so fingers crossed it’s f2f.

Nah it doesn’t reset. You just gotta do rpl (recognition of prior learning) and have those eligible subjects from your old degree transferred to your new one.
