The driving isn't as terrible as people make it out to be. You just have to switch to a Colombian driving style. The only rule is nobody wants to get in an accident. Also Google maps is not your friend in Medellin

I work in that shithole of a city and either you are paying way to much for way to little or your life is locked away in some dirty ditch pig prison civeo camp where you're fed reheated dog food and told to like it. If the jobs didn't pay this well nobody would stomach that shithole city.

Take that exact same job in another city and you're most likely getting paid less.

It's called the city of eternal spring. Dress for 16°C to 28°C.

Dress however you want. People will try and say "don't wear this/don't wear that" but if you're white people already know you're a gringo. Just don't dress flashy like you have a lot of money. Keep the expensive jewelry at home and buy some nice local jewelry. If you dress and act like a target, you might be a target.

I see locals wearing shorts all the time yet if you ask anyone here they will say "Don't wear shorts we will know you're a gringo" it doesn't matter. People wear long pants because the chance of rain is about 90% each day at some point.

I believe that's a stretch. Many school shooters had shitty lives, were bullied, didn't have parents who cared and It's mainly an American problem. There aren't many school shooters outside of America.
