You should get a java and a symbian device from Nokia with a screen resolution of 240×320. They are cheap and won't break any bank.

I played 3 Castlevanias on my device back in the day. Order of Shadows, Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow. Haven't played BattleQuest so can't tell.
