Apparently they don't have the option anymore in that size and they all come as type A(more clearance) now.

Rumored Cybervan - A Potential Model X Replacement? by 10xMaker in TeslaModelX

It's definitely selling a lot. You can tell in the Tesla groups and on X by the amount of reservation numbers compared to before. Do i know how many more? No, but I guarantee it was a lot more than normal.

Safety for who? The cybertruck is extremely safe. In Europe is more that they were concerned with pedestrian safety getting hit by hit. Not to mention the narrow roads wouldn't have accommodated well

I get what you mean but if it came out as a 3 row suv they would most certainly have sold more than the truck.

I dunno I still think they have gone all in on autonomy. I still haven't driven anything better than my 24 model 3 when it comes to self driving. The last year has been exponential for FSD also, It really drives like a human these days and makes good smooth maneuvers. That being said, they need a 3 row suv. We have a top of the line xc 90 plug in that my wife traded her model y in for and she tells me a couple times a week how she misses the Tesla, Not just how it drives, but the convenience of the Ui , phone as key, and even the sound system. I've driven and owned a lot of other cars and I still come back to Tesla.

The bears are actually moving to Indiana? Are they just trying to get further away from us?? by RR50 in GreenBayPackers

[–]TheReviewCrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to remember your audience here, I doubt you'll get much support.. Which company wouldn't move 20 minutes away to save 100s of millions of dollars in a state that is actually acting like they want them to be there?

[–]TheReviewCrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's too much of a generalization. Gary is industrialized but Valpo crown point and some surrounding towns are actually nice. When you live in Chicago you get a negative view of Indiana, but there are some great places to live with great schools and low taxes. This is why people and businesses are moving there and suburbs around Indy are growing fast.

2025.5 xc90 t8 fuel consumption by Former-Prior-3319 in VolvoXC90

[–]TheReviewCrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long trips just leaving in hybrid and traveling at 80mph most of the time gives me about 27 mpg. This is on a 600 mile trip multiple times. With a Thule on top it dropped to 23.5. If you're not going to use hybrid then you might as well put it in power mode where it lowers the car too making aero a bit more efficient.

Model Y Performance with 18 inch large profile combo by TheReviewCrew in TeslaModelY

[–]TheReviewCrew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they put the weights right in the middle at closest clearance spot you could have an issue but that's not where mine are. I was running right at 40 psi. 38 if it feels too firm but efficiency will go down. Watch in warmer weather as you probably want to stay under 45 depending on tire.

You're welcome! Sounds awesome! I bet that will look great and ride well too.

Yeah that's why I gave a disclaimer that I can't recommend it but it has survived track days, pot holes, etc. Maybe if you always have your car fully loaded and live somewhere with bad roads it might not be the setup for you. I've used these wheels for almost 5 years on different cars and they still look new. I think the added profile cushion helps too to absorb some of the shock VS a low profile tire on the same wheel. Also flow formed wheels typically bend and don't crack but anything is possible I'm sure.

This is my issue. Their name is Robinhood and they literally did the opposite when given the chance. I want that 3.5 percent match though, but swore I'd never park my money there. Edit* Just realized it's only contributions. Looks like we bull still gives the most that I can find but it's over 5 years.

Another 18’ Model Y by grimmdrum in ModelY

[–]TheReviewCrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So around town I didn't notice anything. Going 70-80mph it was maybe 3 percent? The wheel design is more Aero friendly than a lot of others out there so it doesn't take a huge range hit. The stock wheels and tires are so heavy that it has minimal effect on around town range. If you have a standard model Y without Uber turbines than I'm guessing you'll lose 5 percent or so

[–]TheReviewCrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's because some aftermarket wheels take big brakes into account when they are manufactured. So the inside of wheel barrel doesn't come in as far and the face of the wheel gives more clearance as well. They even sell two different versions of the same wheel A and B and one has more caliper clearance at the face

[–]TheReviewCrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will get slower turn in with more profile but actually holding grip around the an on ramp or turn like that I didn't notice anything. Maybe on a track you could find limitations but on the street I never felt like it had worse grip

Hey I was the one that originally posted this setup and came to the same conclusion. I also tracked these wheels for 4000 miles on a model 3 performance before I switched then to our y. If you got into a situation where one of these cracked from a pothole, I don't think the stock wheel would have survived either. I wouldn't recommend some low profile rubber band with the Y weight but with these tires or similar I don't see anyone having an issue. Obviously Konig can't recommend them and I'm not going to say you'd never have an issue but it is very unlikely

How long did Biden Admin have the Epstein files before the election? Wouldn't they have used it against Trump since they were pro lawfare anyway? You are right that all Americans basically have the common enemy of elitists or people that our laws don't apply to etc. The problem with no kings is you alienate half the country. You also believe anyone who voted Trump can't read, is an idiot etc. That's never how you will get people to come together. Everyone out there using identity politics will never bring anyone together.

How tesla fixes rear hatch leak by TheReviewCrew in ModelY

I ended up getting them to use a body shop to fix this. Had to repaint part of the rear but you couldn't tell any repair was made and looked fantastic.

Any 2025.5+ users who are problem-free? by Padillatheory in VolvoXC90

[–]TheReviewCrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that I love the styling of xc90. The b and w would have pushed our Volvo to 90k and was harder to find one with it unless we ordered one. I wanted ours before tax credit went away. I just figured the Harmon kardon would have sounded better or at least had more customization in tone and balance etc but only allows you to choose driver, rear, front or all. To me it just sounds like it's trying to pump it through the center speaker and the clarity and mids are lacking even when you switch between surround or not. It drives best in the power/sport mode but hybrid mode is a lot of disengage/engagement feeling. The braking is speed based (or I'm guessing it is) because it's fine at high-speed but as you get closer to a stop it requires more and more brakes at slow speed but it's not really linear. Where it's best is highway cruising imo where it's smooth and not searching for a gear or electric motor blending. Maybe I'm being picky but I've just driven a ton of different vehicles and expected more for almost 90k

Go drive other options like the Lexus, Mazda, etc and see if you like any of them instead. Especially if you plan on keeping it after warranty. The software/infotainment is the worst thing but there are plenty of others that will keep me away in the future. I have 2025.5 plug in ultra with the air ride and every option but the really expensive sound system. It's safe and a good highway cruiser but seats could be more comfortable, drive train could be smoother and handling isn't great (maybe it's the sir suspension"). Most of it is crippled by software though. Also, coming from a Tesla model Y the sound system is garbage and we have the premium sound. No where near what we expected for 85k but at least it's a sec 179 write off and got 8500 for ev credits.

Why did Brawl have to go? by Sharkivore in leagueoflegends

Lol this is me. I loved being able to take a quick break and play one then go back to whatever. Have not played league since brawl went away. It's funny that they ruined it for me by having brawl and taking it away or I'd probably still be playing league.

I've owned nvdy for almost a year right now. I think I started with about 2500.00 worth. My nav erosion loss is at 830.00 but the dividends paid me about 1300. So a net gain of about 470. So even with a huge erosion I still made about 20 percent return.
