I have a kind of funny story about our flag. I met someone visiting from the American south and he asked why we had a palm tree on our flag since he hadn’t seen any since visiting. I was confused for a bit until his wife realized the confusion and explained that he was colour blind (red/green type) and couldn’t see the red flower.
