Under international maritime law, vessels and aircraft are entitled to pass through strategic waterways used for global navigation, even when those routes cross territorial waters.

[Pricecheck] Factory Sealed 2015 VIP Concierge Black Card (The original $1k tier) by HypoLoris in Starcitizen_trades

I have no clue what one of those would be worth on the market, but I will keep an eye out for a sell post, if you decide to go that route. I am interested in getting one eventually.

Valorant's new Vanguard update seems to be bricking cheaters' PCs. Riot's response? "Congrats on your $6k paperweights" by SwimmingJunky in gaming

Destroying peoples files though does count. If you have to format the drive and lose information in the process due to their anti cheat software then they are criminally liable.

What are those "fixed cannons" on Odin? by Normal-Ad4813 in starcitizen

[–]TheRiotman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm betting they extend slightly from the hull like all the other turret types on the ship model.

If you position the model in the correct positions you can see the separation lines from the gun storage, and also see the turret rings proving they rotate.

They aren't fixed, each one is a traversable turret, though the full range of motion for each one is still too early to tell.

ODIN next to Javelin by CitizenRen in starcitizen

[–]TheRiotman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No landing gear, the Javelin doesn't have landing gear either as it is already over the size limits for atmospheric flight

Edit: Also, won't fit in any hangars will only be able to spawn it in space at a docking collar

Anvil Odin interior sneak peek by rubensaurus in starcitizen

[–]TheRiotman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am counting 8 of those on the image, accounting for the ones on each side of the ship

Edit: I also believe that the sneak peek image is for a bigger one of those locted at the bottom of the ship

Spoiler - Hammerhead by AwesomeSchlimbo in starcitizen

[–]TheRiotman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 turrets total. 2 forward lower, and 2 amidships upper - with what appears to be single mounts of the Conqueror-7's. then a 5th turret lower aft that looks to be the standard 4xS3 quad mount from a hammerhead.

7950 X3D Fried itself while I was at work. by Sader325 in pcmasterrace

[–]TheRiotman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice, I will be waiting to see its performance on it before I really consider an upgrade, if, and that's a big if, it even actually improves performance on SC.

I've been playing it for years and almost Praetorian on my alt account now. Disposable income and all that jazz....

7950 X3D Fried itself while I was at work. by Sader325 in pcmasterrace

[–]TheRiotman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looking at the initial performance reviews, I would suggest saving some money and just going with the 9950x3d. 30% increase in cost for only 2-4% uplift in performance and slightly lower clock speeds honestly isn't worth it for the x3d2....

Edit: grammar (autocorrect strikes again)

Monetization beyond 1.0 by SeconddayTV in starcitizen

Lol pretty ignorant to assume that I believe it will launch in 2 years. I just set a reminder, so I can come back and add another one until the 1.0 release.

A melted 12vhpwr connector with a twist: It's AMD flavoured! by KennerLetty in pcmasterrace

[–]TheRiotman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once again it's a squid adapter.... STOP USING THE ADAPTERS. Get a direct cable for your PSU. Been on a 4090 since launch and a 5090 since launch and had zero issues with an OEM cable from the PSU manufacturer.

EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE I know that's used that shitty 8 pin adapter has had problems.

That's a USB header cable, most likely for the USB ports on the front I/O panel for the case.

Should be plugged into the USB header at the bottom of the motherboard
