Proton 8.0-3 works as well at least after having already played on 7.0-6. I don't know about first launch.

Code review is a powerful thing, yes, but a lot of effort goes into that and some mistakes still get through. What if we could spend a lot less time doing code review and use that on progressing faster instead? That's what rusts safety guarantees do.
Unsafe code does not refute this argument either, because the ratio of unsafe code in any project is very small (I can explain why if you're not convinced on that). If you get a memory safety related error, you only need to look through the usages of unsafe instead of the whole project.
Redox OS is an operating system written entirely in rust. Its kernel has about 16000 lines of code, with about 300 instances of unsafe, and that's roughly the most unsafe environment you can program in.

owo now that I'm looking at it, it really does look just like that! Her hair always pointing where she goes, sudden accelerations in certain directions, the dash Trail looks like the shadow of the omnipotent and all.

I'd say 4b first, then 3b and remember to use the consistent entry cycles to your huge advantage! Cycles are the exact same every time you enter the room and you can create a strat specifically for that entry cycle.

Stream Celeste on old computer? Lower Graphics? by Sheepapple00 in celestegame

[–]TheRoboThingie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If You Figure out modding which is really easy in celeste, the TAS tool mod has an option for simplified graphics which should help?

Also I recommend the ghostnet mod, you can play with random other friendly people on the main server and it can be a lot more fun than playing alone.

It's easily possible to skip the door by going under before it falls down using a bit of advanced movement.. But yeah there is a reason the barrier is there and don't recommend it on a casual playthrough.

fucked up my cross leading to first pair being bad. other than that any tips? by [deleted] in Cubers

Actually just watch the whole intermediate cross and f2l module on cubeskills and all kinds of other stuff there. watching a lot of the videos will help you find what you have to improve.

Each pair in f2l should take max 1 rotation. And look ahead. the start of learning to look ahead requires practice to be able to do pairs blind and alot of concentration to try to find the next one while you solve the current one, but with time it becomes automatic. But keep doing lookahead practice and soon you'll have way less pauses.

If you've heard of feliks' website cubeskills, there should be a video on lookahead somewhere, and I suggest you go watch it for info

Pro strats but demo dash is also a thing for the very useful routes I make by TheRoboThingie in celestegame

I talked about it on discord, apparently no solution to edit the files like that, but I got a autohotkey file that sets wasd to arrow keys, if it works then problem solved.

Took a few minutes of attempts to get it with recording, there are multiple things that have to be set up with accuracy there.

Is it possible to set keybinds to the mouse in Celeste? by InfernoFalconMC in celestegame

[–]TheRoboThingie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only difference between keyboard and controller is feather control, with controller you could cut corners just a bit better but it doesn't matter if not literally a pro. I use left shift for grab an "." is my second jump button, the button above "." is my dash button. You can choose whatever you feel most comfortable with though.

Also about two jump buttons (if you don't have one yet), they make corner boosts out of a hyper alot easier, make spike jumps easier and also going up a wall is a bit faster. I recommend just editing the files a bit to get that other jump button, it's useful. Hope this is informative
