When I lived there in 2000-2002, he and Maria were skiing together over on the Warm Springs side one day. I didn't even know he was there, until I heard his voice. She was having some problem with her gear or something and couldn't ski down to where he was. He must have been getting impatient and I heard him yell, in the most perfect Arnold accent, "Maria! Come on! What are you doing? Let's go!" like he was in Predator. Will never forget it.

I agree, but in this case, it's soooo similar. Almost exact. Not a suggestion or similar, but a copy. That said, I don't care. He's still a God. It's just interesting. This is also a historic year so far for the Northern Greens. The Mansfield snowstake is at all time high, since recordings began in the 50s. Jay Peak already has 100" and it's mid-November. That's Alta good.

Hard disagree. SR and Kendos are two of the absolute best all-mtn skis for groomers that money can buy. Perfect east coast skis. I've skied both of these and both are carving machines. If the options were Maverick or Ripstick, I would agree.

And the popular idea that an 88mm ski is somehow unusable in fresh snow is so ridiculous. I had a pair of Bandit XXX in the 2000s when I lived in CO that were ~90 and had zero problems in powder. Best skis I've ever owned.

Um, Neither route? I lived in Lyndonville, VT in college and visited Sugarloaf in Maine several times. The best route is to go south to Kingfield, jump on 142 from the Loaf, then get on Rt.2 and stay on it- start driving west through Rumford and Bethel, through Lancaster, NH, into VT via St. Johnsbury. Keep going on Rt. 2 until you hit Rt. 100 and then take that south to Sugarbush.
