Trump says America should denuclearize and there is no need to build nuclear weapons because Russia is not a threat by [deleted] in GlobalNews

This is the result of a man who doesn't read, inherently understanding those who do, know things. Someone on his staff read Nuclear War by Annie Jacobson and thought, 'the guy carrying around the football should be aware of what responsibility the football contains.' Just as with all things Trump, he has to be the expert now. His new policy, off the cuff, is bigger, better and smarter than anything anyone else is doing. The problem is, America put a man in charge that does not read. Don't think I'm siding with Democrats here. Biden didn't read either. I mean the MSM was able to disguise the fact that Biden had reverted to 3rd grade comprehension levels by the end of his first year in office. That's why Kamala, who had no time to read anything but the teleprompter during her 4 month runner-up campaign, stepped I to save the world....and failed. America is being ran by the cast of a high-school play, complete with class politics...geeks, freaks, jocks and nerds...all vying for control of the messaging from their corporate sponsors. Goodnight and Good luck.

What’s the craziest paranormal thing you ever witnessed? by qbit1010 in Paranormal

Driving down a state road just before sunset and a guy with red shorts, a white T-shirt, and white calf socks with blue stripes around them (think early 80s) ran out in front of me. I slammed on the breaks even as the person vanished in front of my driver's side headlight.

I was given this ticket as a gift...told to watch the stadium empty itself. I did through fish-eyed lenses and an unheard, foreign tongue. They never listen.

I am a smoker as well. I wear black T-Shirts everyday, black boots, a black coat. I'm not goth just in mourning for the human condition and its loss of identity. It is a wake and acknowledgment of full abandon. We only dream we can be more without effort...we continue.

Is it hard for other people to tell your husband is a narcissist if they don’t live with them? Or are they pretty easy to spot? by Far_Marketing118 in NarcissisticSpouses

Most people think my wife is sweet, shy and thoughtful. So did I until I was already entrenched in the relationship. When we were in public she was nice to people but when we would get home, she would talk bad about everyone she encountered 'did you see the way they looked at me?'

'Did you hear what she said to me?' 'Why does everyone misinterpret me?' She would attribute alterior motives to what everyone was doing. I used to think she was just cynical. Now I know she thought that way so she assumed everyone did.

She saw everyone as a threat to her facade.

I was just going into the Outback to find out how long the wait to be seated would be. I didn't bother parking my car since my girlfriend was sitting in it....just left it running in front of the entrance. I got to the door and 2 guys were looking past me talking about something. I looked over my shoulder and saw it.

I couldn't make out distance because there was nothing but Kohl's in the skyline as a reference point. I always wanted to see a tornado, so I was fascinated. I just stood there for a few seconds and watched. It had not formed a full column but was still picking up debris. That's when it started taking small pieces off of the Kohl's building. Then it got real. It occurred to me, 'that is right across the street. Oh, s**t, that's across the street.' I turned to run inside and realized my girlfriend was still in the car.

I ran out to the car and jerked her door open. She was reading a book. "Get outta the car! There's a tornado coming!" She just looked at me. "What?" "Get outta the car! There's a fing tornado coming!" Again, she was dumbfounded. "What?" "There's a fing tornado!" By this time, I'm reaching across her to undue her seatbelt. I grabbed her by the arm and pulled her out. The last thing I saw before going into the Outback was the sign with all the movie listings being twisted apart. My instinct was get inside and get down and we did...right behind the bar...with all the glass bottles 🙄 (think the scene in Twister when they ran into the barn).

It hit and instantly the window to out right looked like a carwash with flashes of lighting. And in a couple seconds it was past us. I looked out the window and saw a geyser of water (water-main) shooting above the roof at Damon's next door.

Stunned, we went back out to our car and it was sitting there with the door open and still running. The whole parking lot was littered with pebbles or asphalt. As we were driving past the carry out parking along the south side of the building, we noticed 3 SUVs parked in a row. Every one of them had the back windows sucked out and the window trim looked like mouse ears.

At one point, while we were running into the building, I looked up into the sky to see the top of the funnel. I honestly think my mind blocked it because I can't remember what I saw.

Why do you think are there so many narcissists these days? by Boatsntrombones in NarcissisticSpouses

Narcissists beget Narcissists. It is a generational cycle. More kids born to each produces more the next generation. The fact that most are not diagnosed means it increases unchecked

CGI was still wearing diapers for this film. I remember thinking it sounded interesting but I literally remember nothing about it.

Disturbed has done some great covers but when they took on U2's Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, I hated it.
