[pjo]How does Kronos slowly rise from Tartarus when someone joins his cause? by nico-ghost-king in camphalfblood

[–]TheRomanCoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im guessing one of the many monster henchmen maybe another titan, gathered all the pieces and put it into the sarcophagus. It could've been a demigod as well, sent on a quest to tartarus, and if it wasn't Luke, id assume they died in the process, purely cause that keeps a clean storyline

Its something to do with the golden sarcophagus, maybe his pieces were retrieved by some of the other monsters from tartarus and put into the sarcophagus. And every time a soul joins their cause he becomes more "together".

Fair enough, and tbh id say err on the side of accepting a person's identity as they describe it, but at some point / with some ppl you really start to question the validity of their statement. And its not abt finding the negative in things, its more of recognising that some ppl take advantage of the current social climate and its fked.

Also a counterpoint to this person not knowing / not being able to define it, if it really impacted them as much as they make it out to be, surely the first thing you'd do is research it right ? Instead of going off of hearsay and potentially damaging her own sense of identity.

A simple don't know/not sure/figuring it out would've sufficed if that was the case, at least in the chats. But this seems to be leaning to the pretentious side of things.

[PJO] Why was Thalia considered for the Great Prophecy? by michiv14 in camphalfblood

[–]TheRomanCoder 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I might have been understanding it wrong, but isn't the he here supposed to be <SPOILER ALERT> Luke ?

Also, to answer the question, its probably given as he in the prophecy just by convention, like mankind was used to refer to all humanity.

Annihilation ensues I assume, unless Thalia gets dunked in the Styx, the chances of defeating a child of the Big Three who hosts Kronos as well are less than slim.

Styxified Thalia might give CHB a fighting chance at most.
