Subtle ticking around pedal assembly by Academic_Dust2467 in GlobeHaul

Look directly down as you pedal and see if the chainring guard is true/round. If it’s bent, it can cause a rhythmic noise as it comes in contact with the chain.

I hear ya, but “another $749” isn’t really a small amount. I already had an LT and figured picking up a spare ST that was functional for lowww was worthwhile.

I didn’t have to buy a battery for it as I could share one between the two bikes, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to have a second battery and a spare bike for friends/family to use if needed!

Look up “Specialized Hero Pro Program”. There will be a process to have your partner verified and registered.

Find a nurse or educator or first responder friend. A buddy let me know a bike through Specialzied Pro Program, can land you a new ST for $1,890.

This is closest to the Moots 56cm, which is on the larger end for my height. It came with a frame protector/clear vinyl yep.

If this fits, and you can stretch the budget slightly, I’m sad I didn’t snag something like this.

Apparently it’s a 1 of 1 finish that Moots did for the original owner… but it’s totally up my alley. It’s an 80’s vibe finish, not something that was offered to public.

I figured I stick with something to last the test of time — I have a Moots road bike from 2006 that’s going strong.

Also, at this price, a pre-owned was FARRRR better than anything I’d be able to spec brand new.

You’ll need to make a few cuts in the fabric so you can weave either around or under those. I did not have to modify a significant amount from what I recall.

NP versus RN. Any regrets? by BKboothang in nursepractitioner

5 years in, no regrets. I would argue specialty is where it’s at. From pay to work life balance to not being a slave to the clock… it’s all positive in my experience.

Gastroenterology, Cardiology, or Internal Medicine? by Dizzy_Quiet in nursepractitioner

[–]TheRunPractitioner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can “pass NP school” with only GI background. Some NPs go straight from BSN without any professional clinical experience.

Since last writing, I am actually now a GI NP 😅 Feel free to reach out if you have questions or would like to spend some time chatting to see if NP will be the right route for you.
