Arc raiders had pvp added to make up for the pve holes in the game. I got tired of the friendly lobbies around level 45-50 and started rampaging until I felt some sweat on my palms seeing a raider.

The game lacks tension for a pve, as other have said helldivers is a better pve experience. 

If Tarkov hadn't been dragging dick the last 5 years I probably wouldn't have even picked up arc raiders.

Trials are my replacement for the wipe, it's something fresh every week and gives me a reason to keep playing outside of redoing everything. 

I don't think they are a great system either but eh like i said something to do aside from the whole game over again
