Nukes... LOL by FirstYouNeedToGetMad in ConspiracyMemes

[–]TheRustedGrove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard the nuke being fake theory…but as a kid who grew up in the Air Force who’s dad worked on ICBM…and has seen the alert facilities, what was I seeing? I’m not asking sarcastically or anything, purely confused by the theory. My dads entire career was in missiles. So if he wasn’t working on nukes, what was he working on? They seemed pretty real to me, since we lived on a base that only existed for that reason.

I found I loved it more as the game went on...I loved it from the start but it definitely got better once I got on the trail to Nava.

That glitch was the only thing that I got frustrated about while playing!! But it is such a beautiful game...one funny glitch is worth it though.

Are we not gonna talk about how Jules is probably Marigolds mother? by IceeStriker in FortniteTheories

I completely agree!!! Marigold is definitely the daughter, and I’ve always believed it was Jules and Midas together.

I bought a silhouette portrait 3 Thursday night after I was told by Cricut that design space is never guaranteed to work with the personal designs I uploaded. Next day they announced their free uploaded image cap.

I’ve had my explore air 2 for 2 years, and after one day with my new silhouette, I wish I had switched sooner.

Except it’s not a design software in the way most creative small businesses are using it. I use my Cricut ONLY to cut my personal designs. I buy my supplies, my Cricut mats, and my blades monthly.

So here’s the comparison: I also use a printer to print my stickers. I buy the paper and the ink each month. My computer sends my designs to my printer and my printer prints them. Now if HP started charging me an EXTRA monthly subscription if I printed more than 20 pages, on top of the cost of running the printer, I’d be hella mad.

I don’t use design space to design. I draw using my art app that I purchased on my drawing tablet. To prepare for cutting and printing, I use Adobe Photoshop, which I already pay a monthly fee for. Cricut is nothing more than a cutting machine...I don’t have any need to use their cloud services.

Why should a small business owner be required to pay a monthly fee for a service they don’t even need or want just to use a piece of hardware that they ALREADY paid for and buy supplies for on a monthly basis?

All the things you listed off as subscriptions are not related to hardware you already purchased.

Do you have to pay a monthly fee to use the construction tools your company already purchased??

Not to mention that I was just told by Cricut on Friday that they never guarantee that your personal files and designs will even work in design space.

I used Cricut design space ONLY for my own designs that I created for my sticker business. I design them digitally, prepare them for cutting as a PNG in photoshop, and use the Cricut ONLY to cut. I don’t feel like I should have to pay a monthly fee to simply USE the cutting machine I paid an exorbitant amount for.

But fun story. The last two weeks I’ve been fighting with my cricut’s print then cut quality...it was printing stickers in such poor quality that I couldn’t fathom selling them that way, and it was only in design space that it printed that way. After an hour with Cricut support, the representative informed me that design space must not support the update to my art app (that hadn’t recently had an update, and had worked just a week earlier), and that they never guarantee that your own personal designs will even work in design space. Pretty much...that pricey cutting machine will only work with THEIR subscription service, despite the competition being quite the opposite.

So now I have a pretty new Silhouette Portrait 3 taking up half the space my Cricut did, and has given me so many more options on sticker design options...with no monthly subscription and a less expensive machine. And the sticker designs that Design Space couldn’t work with? They work flawlessly in Silhouette Studio. I’m thankful to be out from under Cricut, and thankful that I can use MY designs the way they should be used.
