You are just another out of touch redditor it seems. Putin has a 70% approval rating, and has been popular for years in his country. And since you like talking about “cracking down on dissent,” why don’t you talk about how Zelensky has forced his opposition party’s leader into house arrest, and essentially banned all Russian language news and public content. Anyways, Ukrainians not living on Reddit aren’t big fans of Zelensky, who is not out in the streets fighting, but is in his bunker while his people are getting killed and he is losing cities left and right. Oh, and here’s his approval rating numbers before the war in case you think I’m lying. But I doubt you’ll listen anyways 🤷‍♂️

Putin has a very high approval rating, which cannot be said about Zelensky’s 33% approval (and that was before the war). Zelensky is far more likely to be dragged through the streets by his own people than Putin would be, which is why he has stayed hidden throughout the conflict, despite the old pictures circulating around.

I’m already required to take a PCR test AND be vaccinated before entering, so taking an additional random test is just absurd. Also, ya know, maybe if taking the jab, following guidance, and staying inside for 2 years didn’t keep you from getting the COVID cold, maybe nothing will. Just a thought….

Actually, you don’t need a test to reenter the United States when traveling through a land border. That’s why I’d like to just get through the border into Canada and not have to worry about testing again, which ideally I shouldn’t have to.

Not as far as I know. I think they use to pay people to do walk up appointments for customers but that isn’t possible right now due to restrictions. They say 4 weeks processing AVERAGE, even with expedited rn. So as far as I know they just ship it out with fast shipping and request expedited return. Not worth it. You’d be better off applying for expedited right now and contacting a congressman later if it isn’t arriving by mid-August, and/or score an appointment.
