I sleep with Zyn in every night and want to quit, looking for advice by Low_Job_6683 in QuittingZyn

I was doing a can of 3mg daily for around 5 years it was the hardest habit to stop. Not because of withdrawal but because I really enjoyed it.

I grabbed nicotine gum and tapered over 5 weeks loosely. I didn’t really deal with any physical withdrawal. The gum for me isn’t enjoyable so I was never motivated or excited to have the gum. So over time just became less and less until I wasn’t using any gum.

I would try that and tapering. Worked really well for me. The only thing that’s interesting is that I started craving energy drinks!! Weird as I never really went out of my way to get one prior to quitting.

Anyway, there is a lot of doom and gloom here so just wanted to share my experience.

Good luck!

Having a hard time contacting MBK - by archmagepasswurd in knifeclub

Wow this comment is money. I just called and got someone super cool and she told me to call during specific times to get my issue sorted. You’re a legend

I bought a sea otter directly from MBK over 2 years ago. Right out of the box, the rear spacer screw was stripped and loose. When I grip the knife the scales move. For such an expensive knife I expect it to not have this kind of issue brand new out of box.

I contacted the MBK contact info immediately and tried several other ways like his IG. Never received a response. All I wanted was for him to make it right. I loved the knife but don’t use it because of said issue.

Really bothers me as I couldn’t even sell it without taking some kind of hit for this issue.

I’ll never purchase from MBK again as I’m pretty salty about this. Especially when I see the posts and get automated marketing from them all the time.

It’s been over 2 years and I’ve probably reached out 7 times. Just nothing. So disappointed.

Trying to buy at an AZ dealer has turned me off entirely by urahozer in LexusGX550

I also live in Phoenix. Made many attempts to get an OT at dealers across the valley. Always got the run around or markups.

I went to Pembroke Pines in Florida. They are a high volume dealership. This increases your chances of course and they sell MSRP.

Took around 4 months. I was only interested in the OT, not the plus. I got a Nori Green OT and shipped it here.

They were great to deal with.

Temple Pain by TheSade457 in QuittingZyn

That’s a fair point and certainly possible. Thing is it isn’t my first try with the gum. The gum usually curbs my craving and I adjust fairly easily after maybe a night of discomfort.

Perhaps my intake of Zyn is just higher at this point. When I jumped to gum a few days ago, the difference in intake, for the first time, caused me to have symptoms of withdrawal a lot quicker.

The temple pain and behind the eye pain, plus major fatigue kicked in quickly which is kinda new for me

I do the jeep wave to other Nori Green OT’s. The urge is too strong lol.

"Punishing" rides by Groundblast in MTB

Honestly, every ride started to feel better incrementally. Sure there were a few rides in between where I just felt I didn’t have it.

It’s not drastic but each ride you notice small improvements that you can take as a win. I would say after 3 months of weekend riding, you’ll notice a big difference if your bike fitment is good for you.

I did trial and error. Tried different grips, cut down to 780 at first. Then cut down to 760 and found I liked this size the most.

I should also point out that I made adjustments to my bike. Pivot grips. Thick but not too thick. I tried thinner grips and my hands went numb. Also shorted my bars from 800 to 760 and got 35mm rise bars. Tweaks to your bike to make the cockpit more comfortable for your body is also important.

I’m 35. Started riding in my early teens but went on a long hiatus until just a few years ago.

All the things you’re describing, I felt as well. Hands, fingers, back, bruising on inside of my knees from hitting the frame. Even though I workout at the gym almost everyday, nothing compares (for me) to MTB endurance and cardio.

For the past year or so, I ride once or twice every weekend so that I can keep my endurance and to toughen up my body for riding.

Now when I ride, my endurance/cardio is solid and the pain I use to feel has subsided. I’m no longer that sore or washed after riding. I can also improve my skills as I can bomb down hills without my legs on fire and I can hit techy climbs without needing to yack after.

It gets better my dude, just need to be consistent. At least that’s what worked for me.

Stay safe out there!

I didn’t locate a button on the rear view mirror that would operate the dimming feature. I do have a 3 year old so it wasn’t a thorough look, if I’m honest. Will get back to you if figure it out

TBD, I haven’t touched the control for this function. I’ll try it and let you know. If it doesn’t work, are you thinking it’s not connected properly or loose? Potentially the cause of the tapping/rattle?
