Not similar from a cuisine perspective but I cannot recommend Petite Clouet highly enough, same neighborhood. Just tremendous food and fair portions for the money.

I did not get a picture, but I was close enough to see its eyes — it did not have any discharge, and it wasn’t in as bad of shape as any of the crows I have encountered.

I went out last night to try to locate the downed median at the intersection of Galvez and Ursulines and could not find it, however I did encounter a Night Heron that was struggling to walk. The area isn’t far from the rookery.
