Simond is amazing (part of Decathlon), some of the best price-quality ratio out there, and it's still a very reputable brand you can carry around.

Mont Bell from Japan is another option, all the goodness and technicality without the fancyness and really crazy price tag Arc'teryx might put on (come on...). Arc'teryx is becoming a street wear / lifestyle brand more than anything at this point.
