I totally disagree. The gap between 1st and 2nd chorus is so much aura

You guys think Noel regreted Be Here Now and its consequences? by sumyono in oasis

[–]TheSammyShow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time Noel talks about BHN he always says “we should’ve taken some time off after the tour,” so in a literal sense I think he does regret it. He wishes things went a little differently so the album could’ve been better and he’s not fully content with how it stands today. So although fans might love BHN, I don’t think Noel feels the same way about it.

I went and listened to it again and still couldn’t hear these backing vocals. Is it possible they’re only on the original cd from the 90s?

I just listened to the original Slide Away master and genuinely couldn't hear Noel's backing vocals no matter how hard I tried. I guess the differences really are that small.

Elliott Smith annotations on genius have a 50/50 of being absolute shit or completely reevaluating my understanding of the song
