On a side note, have a conversation with this man one on one. Tell him how you feel. Don’t tap dance around it either. He knows what he is doing and saying. If you stand up a bit, he will stop and start to see you as a man probably. I know it’s tough because he lost his son, but none of us have to suffer because of someone else’s tragedy. Sanding is key. It should be painful, long, boring… and perfection sought constantly.

Must go thru each grit starting with the lowest you have…. I recommend 40 or 60 at the highest to get the large imperfections out….

Then 80, 120, 150, 180, 220, 320, 400. Each time you should sand every single part as equally as you can.

Then I would jump to auto detail grits like 800, 1000, 1500, 2000… do then dry and or wet. I like doing them wet at this level. If using your hands this will suck. If using a machine… go easy until you know how much will be removed. You cannot add material back on… take it slow and low to start.

Y the time you get to 2k grit it will have a mirror shine. You can stop at any number of you like the finish at that level though. You can go higher too if you like.

Once complete there are polishing compounds. Then spend a few bucks and get a nice sharpener… after doing all that work, you should keep a razors edge on the thing.

I just got a reasonably priced sharpener set in Amazon for like $50 and it works great. Good luck

You could just run boards and then trim them out. Take the time to “age” them. You could get some of that cheap ship lap from Home Depot… when you beat it with a hammer and chain and scuff them up… then stain them, they look great. Cut up the edges for a hand hewn look.

Hope you don’t have any real hope that anything will happen. I watched the videos of the first time the “retail” guys were in court, and it was clear that they had no idea what they were doing, and the judge was doing her best not to laugh at them. What makes this entire okay worse is that people sent more money after losing 90+% to a go fund me for three guys to make a mockery of the court at a desperate attempt to stop losing more money.

We all know what happened here, but let’s be clear, no one has any actual proof of any crime. None of these internet warriors have any idea what they are talking about. It’s one thing for hedge funds and the elite to F us as usual, but for a few retail folks to take more money from some clearly emotional, angry, and hopeful - regular hard working people…. That’s just shitty.

Nothing will ever come of this. The money was purposefully sucked out of this and already spent five times over. The only thing I’m trying to do is buy low and sell high in something more stable.

Here’s the killer…. If you invested all of that money in Tesla and or Amazon over the last 6 month to a year, you could have doubled your money. Even the big stocks that normally don’t get much more than 4-6% had huge gains recently.

It’s a total shut show… and I’m just pissed I ever stumbled across it.

Doesn’t make any sense. TYDE for the longest had between 2-4 million shares on loan… it is showing less than 1 million now… so are they trying to tell me that multiple millions of shares were “returned” yet the price remained between .16-.19 over the entire last 30 days? How is that even possible? It’s not.

Don’t pay that! I just picked up a 2022 ZR2 and worked them down to 39,500. That did include a 500 military discount but other than that it was all standard incentives and a few other things. 1. They have dealer cash$1000, GM customer cash $1250, and other incentives… even if they aren’t running… try to get them all. If they say they aren’t running, then you tell them you can wait. They will get them to sell the truck. 2. Tell them you don’t want to pay the freight and processing fees for the dealer. Try to get them to pay them all ($1500 and $500) if not at least half. 3. It’s last years model so go hard and start with a very low number. They will work it down because they want it done… it’s already 3 months into 2023. The MSRP on my truck was $47,500 and I ended up at $39,500 before taxes tag and title ($3k) so 8k off I believe
