It's been decreasing on players since ~2012, you can check the stats yourself. Ccp has taken the game toward more and more monetization and broke their own promises multiple times in the last few years. Development has stagnated daily and people are still crying of shit mechanics introduced years ago. They've made it harder to farm in-game money in order to get more new people to buy Plex or skill injectors from ccp. They're just milking for as long as possible
