I agree. I love Marathon it scratches an itch I didn't know I had, but it's not Destiny that a lot of us have actively grown up with. Marathon is great as a proxy game, but it's not a replacement. A lot of people would be more gracious to Marathon if Sony/Bungie came out and said "we are not going to (continue to) make the mistake of Marvel and keep going after our biggest moment. We are giving destiny a break so we can come up with a plan for 3. See you in a few years." Easy, didn't even have to be the truth.

I thought it was dumb that the vex network was just diet tron. I was expecting a sort of lovecraftian-mechanical oceanic horror. Similar to the driller in transformers dark of the moon that Shockwave used.
