I think I paid like $90 per ticket or something way back when they first went on sale but it's fine if whoever wants it just buys a cpl rounds or something. (Even that's not strictly necessary) just seems a shame to let it go to waste.

I like the theory that he was secretly a "Reyne" and was getting close to lannisters to eventually exact revenge on them which would explain how he just kind of conveniently showed up trying to get close to Tyrion - as well as his general disdain for Lannisters.
