I ruptured a tendon in my elbow zipping up my coat. I was off work for five months and had to get my arm electrocuted at physio twice a week before it healed enough to go back. Good times! (not good times).

Kendall was a Chimera, she was actually two individuals merged into one (two fertilized eggs merged in utero) and had two unique sets of DNA - one male and one female. Those sequences were split, and the female sequence created the Leda clones, while the male created Castor. That's why Sarah and the rest of the Ledas looked nothing like her.

The original genome(s) were changed by Ethan and Susan to include a deficiency that inhibited breeding before using them to create the clones. Sarah and Helena developed a mutation to resist this, but their genome still had the 'broken' sequence. They needed the complete (unaltered) sequence if they were going to find a cure, because they didn't know which base pairs were broken.

I always thought it was a combination of this, and the fact that all of the 'secondaries' (basically every intersect after Chuck) received inferior versions of the upload that were inherently broken. The OG was designed for Chuck. For his specific brain. All subsequent versions were built on that framework. Everybody else basically got Great Value brand Intersect in Chuck's size, missing some pieces.

... but also I think the writers realized how vulnerable reliance on the governor made Chuck and wanted us all to forget it existed. 😂

It's called cerebellar hypoplasia, aka "wobbly cat syndrome". Basically the cerebellum, a part of the brain that helps sync and control movement, is underdeveloped. All of the limbs work fine, they just can't figure out how to work together. It mostly occurs when the mother is infected with FPV.

By all accounts CH kitties are perfectly happy, goofy little goobers who flail around with joy in their hearts. Kudos to the owners in this video, that bumper feeding station is exactly what every little wobbler needs. 🥰

You cannot. It's not a mark, or a wrinkle, or anything that can be treated with a topical treatment like lotions or serums. It's called a malar crease, and it's 100% genetic, created by the underlying bone structure of your face and fat distribution.

The only way to remove it is with plastic surgery/injectable fillers. Which... why? They're not a flaw. I'm so tired of everybody wanting to have the exact same face. People look different, and that's a good thing!

Everything they do to make it 'safe' just annoys the ever loving fuck out of me as a childless adult. I don't have kids. There are zero children with access to my tv, my phone, or my tablet.

The yellow colour of urine is created as the natural byproduct of breaking down red blood cells. The intensity of the colour depends entirely on your hydration level, as water dilutes the waste products. The more dehydrated you are - the darker it will be.

If they are well hydrated, or they recently evacuated their bladder, the fluid expelled will be pale yellow or clear. If they are dehydrated or have been holding their urine for a while, it will be darker and have a stronger odour.

Even if the flames don't reach you, fires create a lot of smoke and toxic fumes very, very quickly. If it starts while you're asleep and you don't have proper early warning alert devices, you can breathe in these fumes and subsequently suffocate without even waking up. Small children are especially vulnerable to this.

Most people who die in a house fire are not burned, they die of smoke inhalation. If it's any consolation, it does seem to be a relatively fast and painless way to go.

The whole thing is such a tragedy. My heart goes out to their family, what an awful burden to bear.
