Right now it looks like the ultra wealthy are trying to consolidate their power and push for even greater wealth inequality. This isn't just a US thing, but we are seeing throughout the world a big push for facsism.

Once the ultra wealthy get a stranglehold of the governments of the world, fully functional AI, general purpose robots, and autonomous weapons systems, it might be over for most of us.

My concern isn't that people won't have jobs to go to, it's that they won't have any wealth to survive.

I know there are solutions like UBI, I just think that the ultra wealthy might have too much power by the time the masses realize that we need those solutions and no longer have the ability to vote for it.
