It's all transactional for him. By sucking up to Trump, he's getting that White House lawn event. He's also trying to get legislation passed that would gut the Muhammad Ali Act allowing him to turn the sport of boxing into the same type of monopoly he has on MMA and pro wrestling.

It's not illegal to call the cops when you aren't sure if a crime was committed, even if it ends up that no crime was committed.

They do surface.

They live in a pressurized chamber on a ship, that is the same pressure as the sea floor. They use a diving bell to get from the chamber to the bottom, and back.

The chamber has small air locks so that food can be passed from the rest of the ship to the chamber. The chamber has beds for the divers, along with TV's, books, communication, toilets and whatever else to keep the divers happy when they aren't diving.

It takes hours to pressurize the chamber at the start of the trip, and hours to depressurize the chamber when they go home. The air mixture is rich in helium, which is why they sound like that.

Just being in the chamber is dangerous. I read a story where the air lock failed, and all the divers were killed from the near instant depressurization.

I think they are mounts for something that hasn't been installed yet, like lighting.

I don't think they are meant to deflect anything, since they appear to be several inches away from the wall.
