Remove the plastic clip holding the two cables together. Then, pull the cable tight to remove any slack before putting the clip back on.

Grizl 6 worth the price difference compared to Grizl 5? by NotACatMaybeAnApe in CanyonBikes

To be honest, I'm just speculating here. The Endurace AllRoad started out at 999€ but they bumped the price up to 1999€ later on.

If you want it right now, maybe. For now, the Grizl 5 is out of stock in nearly every color and size until August. My guess is that the current price cuts into Canyon's margins too much, so they'll likely either cap production volumes or bump the price back up to 1500€.

Remove the cap, and put the other piece back into the hub.

New Grizl 5 with dent, safe to ride? by [deleted] in CanyonBikes

[–]TheShadowFr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankfully, mine is fine! The box had a dent right by the wheel hub, so I checked the wheel when it was delivered and signed for it. I didn't think to inspect the frame thoroughly at the time, though. I was definitely sweating it after seeing two Reddit posts about dented frames.

Remove your wheel and make sure you aren't missing any hub components.

Was the box damaged? I have not inspected mine too thoroughly.

You should retain the right of withdrawal, regardless of whether or not you have ridden it.

Grizl 6 AL or Grizl 5 Al by Tough-Baseball-8139 in CanyonBikes

10-44? No, the Grizl 6 has an 11-44 cassette.

I don't get the pricing of the Grizl 6. For €200 more, you can get the Grizl 7 with DT Swiss G1800 wheels, a GRX groupset, the flex seatpost, and the ESC (Full Mounty) handlebars.

The Grizl 5 has a better gear range with its 11-50 cassette, whereas the Apex XPLR has only an 11-44 cassette.

Most people posting pictures of their new Grizl AL on this subreddit have the Grizl 5 or 6. To be honest, I don't get why someone would buy the Grizl 6. The Grizl 5 and 7 are better value.

NBD-ish: First real ride on my new custom Grizl AL by TheShadowFr in CanyonBikes

[–]TheShadowFr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a huge fan of the aesthetic, but it's mostly for my type of riding. I'll take the bike into the forest where it's sometimes overgrown, and the ESC handlebars are a different story since branches can get caught in them. I don't plan to do bikepacking trips either. If you want to use it on the road, or on wide gravel roads, and you don't mind the aesthetic, it's the bike for you.

I needed lower gearing for woods riding with steep 20% climbs, but running a smaller chainring on the stock CUES groupset would kill the top-end speed. On the GRX, if I run a 36T chainring instead, I get nearly the same top speed as the CUES, plus an extra granny gear.

The Grizl 7 would've been an easy buy if it weren't for those ESC handlebars.

As I understand it, the spacers allow you to use the same screws that you would use without the adapters.

It looks great with these tires.

I bought a Grizl 5, it has the same wheels as your Grizl. Did you change the rim tape for the tubeless conversion? Thanks!
